Thank you again Turf Doctor! I love how my yard turned out. I would highly recommend using this company if you are wanting to redo your landscaping. If you need someone to be on time, do the job correctly in a timely manner, and be responsive then this is the company for you!
Unbelievable rude office manager. Her name is Barbara. I initially called to get a 2 Mos service, was told they don’t do this. So I agreed to get a quote for full year. Agreed to full year, then was told they didn’t want to service my property because they thought I would cancel after 2 mos, even though I told her that was not my intent. They criticized me for not option for shrub added service, implying I didn’t care about my shrubs. Dodged a bullet with these idiots. Don’t bother wasting time with this outfit. Many other better companies out there!

This is the third time using Robert and his crew on various projects. I started discussions with Robert about my current project back in September. He has always been responsive and great to work with recommending possible solutions to controlling rain water in my back yard.
Robert’s crew was great yesterday putting in a downspout drainage system, doing some grade leveling by broadcasting areas with a sand/loam mix to fill in low spots, laying sod and doing a tune-up and repairs on my irrigation system.
They put up with me wanting to get in the middle of everything happening. My asking questions to directing what, where and how I want the job done as it was being done. I was always greeted with a positive attitude and without any conflict. What a great group to work with.
I am a “happy camper” and hopfully they have provided me a solution to reducing the standing water in my back yard after a heavy rain and the gutters dumping the water into the yard. I will know soon enough after the next heavy rain……
They networked three down spouts to move the water elsewhere by trenching in drain pipe. A pallet of new sod was used to cover the trench and areas that were built up and bare.
The crew was meticulous about the details leaving the worksite clean and free of all debris.

UPDATE: 30 May 2025
Some recent rains with 15-20 minute downbursts of about 3-4″ per hour rate really tested my new storm water collection drain system. The sudden downburst was a 15-20 minute period and measured at 1.5-2″ of rain collected in rain gauges in the area. That amount of rain in that short of a period overwhelmed the system causing it to back up. No fault to the overall system connections and 4″ pipe use, just the pop-up emitter valve at the curb could not handle the 80 GPM outflow being produced by the rain and erosion was occurring at the curb. Robert was able to work with me and together with his crew we were able to find a solution to resolve the problem of the system being able to handle sudden downbursts. Now all I have to do is wait and see how it performs. I am confident that the challenge is resolved and the system should work with no issues. Not many companies will work with the customer like Robert and his crew has done today. Thanks to Augusto, Jimmy and crew who came today to take care of it. Again a great bunch of guys to work with you to find solutions and get it done.

Robert and his team were amazing with our landscaping project! They were helpful in the design, installation and follow up visits to satisfy our “punch list” type items or concerns. Not to mention the million questions we had throughout the process, all the while they remained professional and reasonably priced. Our neighbors are stopping us to say how great everything turned out.
We needed a plant bed raised to meet the pool deck height which is on a slope. Robert and his team removed all the plants, installed the retaining wall and replanted all the plants back into the bed. We needed it done on a rather tight schedule and Turf Doctor was able to get the job done. Completely happy with the results.
