Great dirt! And rocks! This landscape supply store is awesome. The young ladies at the counter are so friendly and helpful and the yard staff is quick to respond on load the truck. I’ve been getting raised bed mix and limestone gravel to build up a garden in the backyard. Prices are great, quality is there, this place is awesome, highly recommended.

Went in to pick up some stone samples and I think her name was Liz? She was great! Got the samples together with explanations that I could pass on to the boss…
I did an extensive landscaping project at my home. I purchased more than $5605 worth of materials (gravel, dirt, dry stack, etc.) from Whittlesey Landscape Supplies. Sadly — they missed their committed delivery day on two out of seven prepaid orders, which I interpret as a lack of respect for my time and my need to get my materials to meet my schedule. The first time they missed their commitment after having me wait all day for it, they refunded the delivery fee for that order and delivered it about 11 am the following day. The second time, I told them to cancel and refund the order after they were unwilling to commit to getting it to me first thing in the morning (say before 9 am delivery). It felt like they didn’t care about my business despite spending more than $6000 with them (again, I refunded the last order, so my total with them was $5605).
FIve stars for product selection and quality and the flexibility of their super sack delivery option. Minus two stars for missing two out of seven delivery commitments. Net, 3 stars. I hope they get better at meeting the commitments they make to their customers.
