   Classic Santa Fe Style inside and out. One of the most well-managed properties we have rented. Thoughtfully appointed with everything you need to cook at home and or just hang out. Unlimited hot water due to tankless system, all appliances work perfectly. Fantastic location, walk to everything. Comfortable cozy furnishings, Great outdoor walled in space. Our puppies loved hanging out in the sunshine there. Also loved the fact that this unit is unattached to anyone else so there is no noise transference. Huge parking space that easily accommodated our very large SUV and one guest.One note. Due to many uneven steps, low doorways and a very high, small (but VERY comfortable) tub not a good rental for anyone with mobility issues or someone over 6 ft 2. We would absolutely stay here again. Also Adobe destinations is a company we have used more than once. They are extremely responsive and we love working with them. Absolutely worthy of their five-star review.

   infested with mice and rats 😢😢. …
   I hate to leave a bad review, but I hope this info helps someone.
   1- Our rental was listed as a 4 bedroom, but failed to mention that one of the bedrooms is only accessible through another bedroom. We had to tip toe in mornings and at night. Not easy with toddlers and kids.
   2- We saw mice several times a day. It was a little comical at first, but then I saw the utility closet (more on that in a second) was covered wall to wall with mice and rat poop. Absolutely disgusting, and no excuse from the management. The rodents also kept up part of our group all night long as they scurried around.
   3- We had a pipe burst during our stay! It’s not management’s fault, but their response was zero. It caused a flood in a bathroom, 5 of us raced to clean it up with towels while I ran into the basement to turn off the water main. We had no water for the following 24 hours. The repair crew was very nice, but they had to go through the TWO connected bedrooms throughout the whole day to fix this. This was tough with two toddlers on our trip. Repair guys were nice, but they left it as a mess and management company didn’t offer to clean up at all.
   4- Management was told all of this and their answer was “we didn’t know.” My immediate family booked an early flight and ended our vacation early to get out. Connected bedrooms? “We didn’t know.” Even after the water leak was fixed (repair guy went to Home Depot and I assume he didn’t pay for repairs with his own money!), “we didn’t know.” Rodent problem? “We didn’t know.” When we told them our disappointment and that some of us even left early, they gave us a 10% discount.

   It was my second trip to NM for a very special wedding. At first I wanted to get a hotel room for my stay. But since I was going there with some friends someone recommended checking out Adobe Destinations and see if they had something to offer. I was in contact with Marilyn Proctor, and she found us an incredible house just a few blocks from the venue.

   Marilyn was very patient with us as we asked her a ton of questions and she was also very accommodating. Because of her my visit to Santa Fe was very memorable and I thank her for that!

   Hope to return to NM very soon 🙂

   I have known Marilyn for over 20 years and her and her family have always been there supporting Santa Fe’s vibrant communities. She has been a great resource for all things Santa Fe, especially when my wife and I were looking for a vacation home for our wedding. Marilyn and Adobe Destinations went above and beyond to ensure that we found the perfect casita within walking distance to where all our family and friends were staying.    I had a wonderful five year experience in a beautiful long-term rental through Adobe Destinations. I will be returning to Santa Fe and already reached out directly to Marilyn in hopes to work with them again. They treated me wonderfully, very attentive and overall just a great experience.
