   We are extremely happy with ADU Homes and the amazing one-bedroom house they created from our detached garage.

   Things we really liked:
   * Upfront pricing that included everything but kitchen appliances.
   * It is easy to make selections for tiles, faucets, etc. on the app.
   * All subcontractors were hard-working and friendly.
   * The entire team was professional and responsive.
   * Howard, the site supervisor is a gem! He addressed all our concerns in a professional and timely manner.

   PS Our architect designed our ADU, but they specialize in providing the entire package from design to final product. Our beautiful ADU is ready for mid-term rentals. We highly recommend the team at ADU Homes!

   After spending roughly one year researching and interviewing prospective architects, contractors, as well as prefab/modular home builders, I decided to go with ADU Homes. Their upfront, honest approach was refreshingly transparent from the beginning of the design through the end of the build. Knocking down the existing detached 2-car garage and replacing it with a 3-car garage with a carriage house above, kept the footprint small, allowing for a large backyard and side yard. The value was far greater than any prefab given the ability to customize the size and personalize it to match the main house, at a cost that was comparable to a prefab of similar square footage. The design team listened to all my concerns and helped provide options for privacy and self-containment of the ADU. The contractor was easy to work with and readily available. Their overall timeline was right on target. I would highly recommend ADU Homes for their overall value, ability to customize, and ease of communication through the entire process from start to finish.

   Building an ADU with ADU Homes was a great experience and we are very happy with the results. The team was pleasant and professional to work with and the ADU is a lovely space for my mom to call home. Every phase of the project went smoothly and any issues were easily and quickly resolved.    We recently had the pleasure of working with Rob, Gary and Howard at ADU Homes. To say the least, ADU Homes EXCEEDED our expectations in every aspect of the project. From the very beginning, their commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, providing great value, ensuring efficiency, and helping with the permit approval process was evident. We couldn’t be happier with the results.

   One of the most notable aspects of my experience was the contractor’s unparalleled customer service. They were attentive, responsive, and genuinely cared about our vision for the ADU. They patiently listened to our requirements, preferences, and concerns, ensuring that every step of the project aligned with expectations. Their professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction set them apart from others in the industry.

   When it comes to value, this contractor went above and beyond. They provided detailed and transparent estimates, allowing us to make informed decisions within our budget. The quality of their workmanship and materials used was exceptional, and the end result was a stunning ADU that surpassed our wildest dreams. The attention to detail and commitment to delivering the best value for our investment was truly commendable. More importantly, having gone through four major construction projects at our home, “unexpected costs” typically arise. Not with ADU Homes. The budgeted costs, which are detailed in your contract, is what you pay.

   Efficiency was another key strength of this contractor. They meticulously planned each phase of the project, ensuring that everything proceeded smoothly and on schedule. Their team of skilled professionals worked diligently, maintaining a high level of productivity without compromising on quality. The project was completed within the agreed-upon timeframe, saving us both time and unnecessary stress.

   Navigating the permit approval process can be a daunting task, but this contractor made it a breeze. For example, we encountered an issue with the County initially requiring us to install a separate sewage line to the main line instead of tapping into our existing line. This would have required us to incur significant additional costs. ADU Homes went above and beyond by not accepting that requirement from the County and went back to the County numerous times to try and convince them that our intent for the ADU was NOT to sub-divide the lot but simply to move in our parents. They had extensive knowledge and experience with the local regulations and requirements, and helped educate the County officials with our intent, eventually convincing the County that the project could tap into our existing sewage line! Their expertise in this area was invaluable and greatly simplified the overall process.

   Overall, we wholeheartedly recommend ADU Homes to anyone looking to build an accessory dwelling unit, either as a standalone or adding to their existing home. Their outstanding customer service, dedication to providing excellent value, efficiency, and expertise in navigating the permit approval process are unmatched. With ADU Homes, you can be confident that your ADU project will be executed flawlessly, resulting in a beautiful and functional space that exceeds your expectations.

   As a family, we decided to convert the detached garage to our parent’s home in Los Angeles. I did some research on ADU’s and different companies and decided to go with ADU Homes. Robert and Gary demonstrated exceptional expertise and attention to detail. Their communication and transparency throughout the project made me feel informed and involved every step of the way. The craftsmanship and quality of work surpassed my expectations.

   We decided to rent out the ADU to a long term tenant. It has been over a year with this tenant and I have not had any issues with the construction. Robert still periodically checks on us and I truly feel that if I had any concerns in the future, they would be taken care of without any issues. I recommend ADU Homes to anyone in need of a reliable and skilled ADU construction company.
