I love my new backyard shed. Max at the office was wonderful nd helped me through the design process. They have all the options to build exactly what I’m envisioning. The install was so fast, and the guys were very friendly. I will recommend Affordable Portable Structures to everyone looking for an additional building on the property.
A crew of 2 put up my 10×12 portable structure in less than 4 hours. I provided my own shingles to match my house. The “ramp” is a couple of 2×6’s that slide out from under the structure. I will need to make my own ramp to get my lawn tractor inside. The only issue I noticed was the use of small shims to level the structure. I am concerned that they will fail in a few years. The warranty is 3 years. Affordable Portables assures me that they have been doing this for years and have had no issues. Overall, it is a nice building and should hold my lawn tractor and other yard tools. They were easy to deal with.
I need to apologize to Dickey at affordable portable. He and his crew really went the extra mile and did a site build for me and I took so long to write this review. I look at my 16×20 shed everyday and think how good it looks and how solid it was built. Dicky worked with me from day 1 and did a great job communicating throughout process. He fit me in to his busy schedule and delivered as he promised. I won’t work with any other portable company. Thanks Dickey!
Can’t say enough good things about these folks. This company was able to work with the various HOA demands and restrictions (height, materials, color, size, you name it!). They fitted me in quickly, and install was completed in less than a day. Everything is straight, level and well put together. Compare with others and you’ll see the extra attention to detail like the 3/4″ floor (thinner with many competitors), 16″ O.C studs, wide access doors. They’ll also work with you to customize things where needed. I think the price was competitive and worth it for what I got. I looked at these reviews before making my decision so I hope this helps folks who are considering working with Max and his team.
We needed a portable building for our non-profit agency, and it had to go in a very particular place. Max was patient and clear as I described what we wanted over the phone, and it is absolutely perfect, super sturdy and well-built.
