   I had the pleasure of working with Carol at Alair Houston, along with several other team members across different projects, and I can confidently say the entire team is exceptional. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely respectful of my needs and preferences.

   While we didn’t end up using Alair for our full remodels, we did go through the planning phases together—and I’m so glad we did. Carol and the team offered invaluable advice and direction, helping ensure I wasn’t being misled or steered down the wrong path in my projects. Their insights gave me clarity and confidence during a complex process.

   What really sets Alair apart is their transparency and structure. Their process is clearly laid out, and they walk you through each step with care, making sure you’re comfortable and informed. With many contractors, it can feel like you’re operating in a black box—uncertain timelines, vague updates, and little visibility. Alair is the complete opposite. They’re an open book, and they want you to understand exactly what’s happening and where your investment is going.

   Next time I build a home, it’s going to be with this crew. They’ve earned my trust, and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

   Nick is amazing. Actually, the whole team that Nick Spector and Chris Bolio run is amazing. Every time my husband and I walk through our home, it feels like us. Much of that is thanks to the quality of the build and the positive smooth experience we had in building with Alair. If you are looking for a team that is honest, transparent about all costs, brainstorms creative ideas, will follow up with any questions in a timely manner, and who cares about the end result feeling like a home and not just the end of a long checklist on a worksite, you really should give them a call. Nick walked us through each step of the build, triple checked our choices before ordering materials to prevent and minimize change order fees, and kept us abreast of all the goings on even when we could not make it over to the house to inspect the progress. While home build costs are high these days, you can be sure that Alair will do their best to stretch your budget effectively and make sure you use spend your funds in ways that will best represent your needs and wants. For what we had built, we feel as if the cost was definitely on the low end of current fair market costs, while the quality was pretty much as good as it gets. Even our neighbors would stop us on the street to say how considerate, clean and quiet all of the build teams coming in and out of the project were. I doubt our home would have instantaneously felt as much like a home had we been with any other builder.

   We recently had our primary bathroom remodeled by Alair, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the start, communication was excellent-Ben K., our project manager, kept us informed every step of the way, and both Carol L., Director of Sales, and Nick S., Alair partner, were always engaged and responsive.

   The workmanship was top-notch, and the coordination among the skilled laborers and technicians was seamless. Every detail was handled with care, and the project even came in under budget, which was a wonderful surprise.

   Alair connected us with Jennifer M. for the design work, and she was fantastic-her creativity and attention to detail helped us achieve a space that’s both beautiful and functional. After completion, a few minor adjustments were needed, and the Alair team handled them quickly and efficiently.

   We highly recommend Alair to anyone planning a remodel, especially if you want exceptional results without having to manage the daily details yourself.

   Megan Honey We’re Home

   I worked with Chris Bolio at Alair Homes over 10 years ago to build our home that we still live in today. If it’s possible, I love our house even more now than when we first moved in! It has held up beautifully and stands the test of time.

   During the whole build process, Chris listen to everything we wanted and his expertise and knowledge helped tremendously. He knows how to maximize every square inch and has a knack for combining beauty and function.

   Our project came in on time and under budget, which was absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend Chris and Alair Homes to anyone considering building a home and would definitely work with him again in the future!

We had waited a long time to be able to update our home, and to have it come out so perfectly is a joy. We are so grateful. The quality of their work is amazing and our home is a dream come true.
