   The team did an excellent job constructing the pod and maintained clear communication throughout the process. Although we encountered a few hiccups along the way, they were resolved promptly and professionally. One important note: irrigation lines are not covered as part of the build. If a pipe is accidentally damaged, the repair cost falls to the homeowner. In my case, a line was hit, but the team was able to fix it for an additional fee.

   Updated Apr 14, 2024: We stayed at The Cedars Ranch this weekend and were blown away with the amazing units Bayard Pods built. Our unit was simple and luxurious at the same time and had everything we needed. The bathroom was gorgeous. Incredibly well executed.

   The office pods that Pavel and team built for us are beautiful, high quality, and most importantly, they’ve been a lifeline in this new work-from-home world. We got the 10’x19’ pod and added a wall to convert to two offices, adding soundproofing material to make it work for two professionals constantly in meetings. They’re perfect for work (I consistently get compliments on my office) and the pod porch is where we chill at night.

   We’ve had our Pod now for almost 1 year. The quality of the construction is very good. Like many people we had the Pod built because we were having a baby and I work from home full time. We needed the extra space. We opted for the biggest version and I can’t be happier that we did. I love my office. Even if you aren’t having a baby, it’s nice to have a fully separate work space.

   I know other people that purchased pre-built office units and their biggest complaint is how much you can hear the outside because the walls are thin. That is not a problem with Backyard Pod! My office is very quite!

   I also opted to run cat-6 ethernet cable myself to the outside and they were very accommodating. I was able to text with my project manager and coordinate getting the cable where it needed to be on time. They also helped me a little bit here and there getting the cable into the Pod.

   As much as we love the Pod there is always something that isn’t perfect. Our Pod had to be built pretty high from the ground. The deck on the outside was high up and it needed the additional step. I think this should just be included in the cost of the Pod rather than being forced to add it on later. I will say I’m very glad we added the step and would be disappointed if we hadn’t.

   In the last year, we also had some touch-ups that needed to happen and the team was very responsive and fixed them right away.

   I would highly recommend Backyard Pod.

   Things I love about the pod

   – It was 100% turn key
   – Electricity, heating and cooling, wired internet was all set up with no effort from me
   – It’s a beautiful addition to our property
   – The entire team was super easy to work with from start to finish
   – Sound proofing is probably better than my own house. I love getting late work nights in and blasting music without feeling like I am annoying my neighbors.
   – The lighting inside is so much better than what I was dealing with inside my home

   Having a Backyard Pod for an office has made me tremendously more productive. When you work from home, it can be easy to get distracted by things like the TV, the kids, or the dog. Having a dedicated workspace can help you to stay focused and get your work done.

   The Backyard Pod has also improved my work-life balance. When you work from home, it can be hard to switch off from work at the end of the day. Having a separate workspace can help you to create a clear boundary between work and home life.

   Not only is it an office it’s been great for entertaining friends. My girlfiend and I don’t always go to bed at the same so it’s been awesome to have a place to entertain friends. We can play games and hang out without worrying about being too loud.

   Highly recommended.

   Backyard Pods did a fantastic job building our dream home gym. They are easy to work with, have good customer service & did well effectively troubleshooting the inevitable issues that arise during any construction. The quality of the construction is excellent. I highly recommend them if you’re looking to add external square footage to your property.
