   This has been the worst construction experience of my life. What was represented as a project that would take a few months is now over a year and remains unfinished.

   I have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars, yet the property has been left with serious workmanship and electrical issues. Walls were damaged during construction, electrical circuits continue to trip, paid-for light switches were never installed, kitchen cabinetry that I paid thousands for is defective and visibly misaligned, and newly installed doors are already showing paint failure.

   These photos reflect just some of the current conditions. Despite this, Kolby / Buildforce & their counsel are claiming the job is “complete.”

   This experience has been extremely stressful, disruptive, and disappointing.

   I worked closely with the homeowner on a project with BUILDFORCE and have been directly involved in coordinating access, walkthroughs, scheduling, and follow-ups with the contractors. What was initially presented as a project that would take a few months has extended to over a year, with ongoing issues still unresolved

   Throughout this process, there have been repeated workmanship and electrical problems, including misaligned cabinetry, damaged finishes, electrical circuits tripping, and fixtures that were paid for but never installed. These issues have required repeated site visits and rescheduling, often with dates changing multiple times.

   Despite the condition of the property and the outstanding issues, the contractor has taken the position that the job is “complete.” Based on what I’ve personally seen and had to manage, that does not reflect the reality of the situation.

   This has been an extremely difficult and time-consuming experience to manage.

   I recently had the pleasure of working with Build Force for a floor and kitchen reno and the experience exceeded my expectations. Kolby’s professionalism and attention to the little details ensured that this project was a success. It was also refreshing to work with such a reliable team for once. Communication was seamless, making the entire process enjoyable. Highly recommend Build Force for any home improvement project.

   Highly recommend Build Force. They just finished my remodel at the Marquis. Being in the service industry, I come across a lot of companies, however working with them has only demonstrated the highest standard of level of workmanship and customer service. I was in touch with Kolby who represents the company and he remained available at all hours of the day and evening to answer all my questions. Great work!!
