   We had DMC remodel a small bathroom in the middle of our house. We had an almost complete demo, including all tile from the floor, bath, and walls, down to the studs. We widened the door and installed a pocket door to make the small bathroom more functional. DMC used plastic sheeting and thick floor covering to protected the floors and the rest of the house from debris and damage. Project management was professional, detailed and exquisitely organized. There were no appreciable delays. Project was completed on time. DMC provided us with costs and prices for virtually every detail of the job. We chose quality materials and porcelain tile for the bath/shower walls and floor. The quality of the work was superb. We could have hardly asked for a more responsive management or a better result. DMC and their high-quality subcontractors are not inexpensive, however. We would use them again. – Susan & John Hall

   We remodeled 1 bathroom and 1 shower with DMC. This entailed removing 2 sunken bathtub/shower in our 1974 home. DMC provided dust protection during the demolition and removal of the sunken tubs, walls, sheetrock, and foundation work. In addition, they did carpentry, cabinetry, painting, and tiling. The project lasted 11 weeks. A Project Estimate, Work Schedule, Layout Drawings, and Finish & Fixture schedule were provided to us, the customer, as well as this information was included in a project binder located on site for all workers. The individual work functions were followed and completed satisfactorily in accordance with the schedule of work. This was due to the professional oversite of the Project Manager. Problems did arise with ordering and communications; however, we received an immediate response from the Project Manager, a resolution was determined, and progress continued. Finally, we were allowed to be creative thus adding our personal touch to the bathrooms. From our perspective, working with DMC is not a low budget program; however, the quality of the work of their contractors and subcontractors and the dependability of the project management resulted in this project being close to spectacular. We will use them again.

   DMC just finished replacing our outdated and leaky sunroom windows with a state-of-the-art picture window and protective metal awning. The team did a really fine job, with meticulous attention to every detail. We would happy to recommend them for any remodeling and will in fact be using them again in the spring for further maintenance projects.

   We couldn’t be happier with Douglas Maahs Construction. We placed our trust in DMC to remodel our outdated 1970’s house and turn it into a contemporary show-stopper. Every aspect of the three-phase project (master bathroom, guest bathroom and kitchen) was completed with perfection, both in an artistic design sense and professional quality of workmanship. DMC listened to our concerns with budget, timeline, design aesthetics and everyday functionality … and DMC surpassed our expectations. Happiness!

   We did an extensive remodeling project with DMC – 2 complete bathroom remodels, a master closet, redefining walls/spaces (creating an en suite guest room from a once separate bedroom/bathroom). Douglas and Aviva Baumann (our project manager) had excellent design suggestions throughout the process. We had some hiccups along the way, but that is to be expected with any major project – especially during Covid when deliveries were so delayed. Whenever there was an issue, Douglas/Aviva dealt with it immediately and fairly. We were very impressed with the quality of work done by the DMC team – everyone was prompt, responsive, professional, and safe. His in house cabinetry and plumbing/electrical guys are great. The framing/drywall team was amazingly fast and complete in their work. And a special note of recognition to Andrew of Counter Intelligence/H and S Craftsmen. He finalized our master closet design and made so many excellent and thoughtful suggestions that really took it to the next level. We are very happy with the final result and would highly recommend DMC.
