   We had an incredible experience with Wellmade Sheds from start to finish. From the initial sales process with Ian, our project manager Alonika and final build with onsite staff, everything was smooth, professional, and exceeded our expectations.

   The build quality is outstanding. There were several moments during construction where we saw the materials being used and were genuinely impressed by the value, fit, and finish. They were not only open to customization, but went above and beyond to tailor the build to our needs — you are absolutely not limited to what’s shown on their website.

   The end result is a beautiful, high-quality space that we’re now using as our home office. We couldn’t be happier and cannot recommend Wellmade Sheds enough.

   I recently worked with Wellmade to build and install a shed in my backyard to use as an office, and the experience was exceptional and reassuring from start to finish. Before choosing them, I spent weeks working on bids with a local contractor and three other major prefab companies in Washington and Colorado to explore options. Wellmade hit the sweet spot offering quality, customization, and value. And I liked that their factory was just an hour away in San Leandro. I even accepted their offer to drive down for a tour, which gave me a better comprehension of their building process, materials (Marvin windows, etc.) and attention to detail.

   Working with the project manager, we designed something that they’d never built before: a modified Richmond model with both a solid side entry door and a back window, in addition to the standard sliding doors. The final result exceeded expectations and added a lot of functionality.

   What made this project even more special is how they integrated the shed with my existing outdoor deck. The crew came up with smart, creative solutions to make everything feel like one cohesive structure using the same composite decking and adding a clean step-up entrance that looks fantastic.

   Because they had an opening in their schedule, my project went from design meetings to construction in about a month (they’re typically booked 2–3 months out). A fantastic three-person crew handled everything, from demo and foundation prep to final cleanup, in under a week. They were detail-oriented, confirmed every plug placement, and clearly enjoyed the work.

   The finished shed feels solid and quiet, with thoughtful touches like TP-Link smart lights that can be dimmed and controlled through the Kasa app.

   I highly recommend Wellmade – especially if you’re based in the Bay Area – to anyone looking for a modern, well-built prefab structure with a personal touch. I love how it looks in my yard!

   I purchased the Sunset shed to use as a home office, and it has been a total game-changer for my work/home balance. With a 1 and 3-year-old at home, having a dedicated work space is essential. I especially love the wrap-around window; it lets in great light and allows me to look out into the backyard to keep an eye on the kids as they play while I work.

   Wellmade clearly pays attention to the details. I love the smart lights and the convenience of having electrical outlets with built-in USB ports—those little touches make a huge difference in a modern workspace.

   The process was seamless. The all-inclusive price covered delivery, installation, and taxes, which was very fair. I also appreciated that because of the shed’s size, no permitting was needed. I didn’t have to act as a project manager or juggle contractors; the onsite team was professional, efficient, and top-tier.

   One piece of advice: I hired an outside contractor for HVAC later. Dealing with those logistics was a headache—if I could do it over, I would have had Wellmade handle that as well to keep everything under one roof.

   In awe of how quickly and efficiently the crew at Wellmade delivered and built/installed our new Presdio office shed. The quality is amazing and materials high-end. I cannot wait to get moved in and working in my new space. Thank you Wellmade for giving us a wonderful option to create more space for our family!

   We are so happy with our new shed! The whole experience was super easy, and we were incredibly impressed at every step. The options for shed design were super clear, scheduling was easy, and every aspect of the installation was completely handled by the team. Easiest project imaginable. And the end result is a beautiful product that feels luxurious and durable. Can’t wait for many years of good use!
