   Atrocious customer support and communications. We ordered several appliances from them, and one arrived with parts fallen off and non-operational. They’ve been completely unhelpful in resolving this after several weeks of a broken dishwasher and confused about which part we’re even talking about.

   Great experience–from the sales team to the installation process. I especially liked the fact that they came out to pre-measure the spot where the fridge (It was replacing an older model in a “built in” space with very specific requirements) would go as it turned out the model I initially wanted would not fit, They came up with a completely acceptable replacement which actually turned out to be a little less expensive. William and his installation team did a great job and I am now enjoying my new refrigerator. If you need a first class outfit to help you choose an appliance for your kitchen and have a seamless installation, I highly recommend you contact BSC.

   We went in because our contractor suggested the store as a good place to see a large range of appliances. Jay Vargas helped us even though we just wandered in, and he’s been exceptionally helpful. We picked a mix of higher end and more moderate stuff with no judgment from Jay. He took his time with us walking through a ton of models of various appliances and then has been super responsive over email throughout the entire process. He’s really knowledgeable. And he’s been very up front and steered us towards other stores when he thought we could get a better deal from them. We appreciate him very much and will always go back to him for appliances.

   Unfortunately BSC was helpful until they received our order. At that point, the service level was terrible. We had to chase the representative for information multiple times. There were issues with the delivery, both in terms of what was in scope as well as the quality of the install. We had to resort to hiring a different installer to not only complete installation of items they said they couldn’t do themselves, but also to reinstall a refrigerator/freezer that wasn’t sufficiently set back into its space. All in all there was friction in every step of the process and there was limited effort to address our concerns. They are not the only option for appliances – buyer beware.

   They seem to have a good selection and the delivery/install people seem very good. The customer service around in-progress orders is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Promises around what is available quickly are not fulfilled once the order is placed; estimates get revised and revised with no explanation or outreach; emails and calls go unanswered. While I understand supply chain issues and so on, the lack of communication, even “this is the best info we have,” makes the overall experience really bad.
