   A couple of years ago we had Double R do a major repair on our stucco and repaint the entire house. It turned out perfect! So when I had a minor issue with my front door closing, I was a little sheepish to call since it was such a small thing. But Luis came right out, looked at the problem and fixed it perfectly in 15 minutes at “no charge”. They had said they wanted to be our “contractor for life”. So big or small, we’ll call Double R when we need a job done right. Thanks Luis for being a pleasure to work with! Theresa & Jim

   Double R helped us replace some of the kitchen cabinets in our 118 year old home while preserving the countertops, walls, and floors. They did an amazing job! They were courteous and respectful of the age of the home. They showed up on time every day and left our home clean and tidy. Ours was a tricky project and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Great company and great crew!

   I’ve been using Double R for many years on different jobs. The painting and stucco work is the best I’ve ever seen. Recently they did a kitchen, cleaning and painting the cabinets, adding new granite, new hinges and cabinet pulls. The job was done on budget and on time. They took special care because I have tenants that live there. I will always use them for any projects I have in the future. The kitchen was dark and dated with worn out laminate countertops. Knew appliances will be installed tomorrow.

   I can’t rave about Double R Construction enough! From Nelly to Luis to team lead, Roger all amazing, good, hard working & honest people–something that is hard to come by. We had a massive water leak in our airbnb and needed a full interior remodel. Luis worked with our insurance to put together an estimate, had his team on site as soon as possible and stayed late to finish the job. He was very responsive and kept me in the loop on all things happening at our condo. They kept our condo so clean and picked up everything–I was pleasantly surprised how they treated my home as if it were their own. They went above and beyond the job scope and made sure our home looked beautiful upon completion. Luis did a full walkthrough with us to confirm our satisfaction with the job. If I ever need a general contractor, I wouldn’t hesitate to call Luis and his amazing team!

   Double R has become our go-to for anything we need around the house. They have done things as small as replacing a bathroom fan and as big as remediation and reconstruction when we had flood damage to two rooms. I will tell you, when they were done, you could NOT EVEN TELL that there had been drywall cut out, baseboards removed, a window replaced that required refinishing an outside wall all around it, etc.

   We have other projects pending that we will do over time, but we already know that we will hire Double R for them. I really think the quality of their work can’t be beat.

   We also appreciate their ethics. They support the community, doing things like helping to sponsor the Electric Light Parade and hiring locally whenever possible. For example, they hired a local business to build their website.

   They also hire the best, then treat their workers right. Benefits and paid vacation, two things that are rarer in the trades. You can tell from the professionalism and pleasant manner of all the workers that he looks for personal as well as professional qualities.

   If you want the cheapest, go somewhere else. If you want the best, I think you’ve found them.
