A beautiful network of trails here. The badlands are fat tire specific to reduce damage and erosion. Plenty of trails up on the upper mesa top for less fat tires. Check the Trailforks app for specific loops and difficulty. Don’t bust the crust and keep singletrack single by staying on the trails. The desert is a fragile place and does not heal like areas with more moisture.
Parking lot is nice for a fat bike ride. Trails are pretty overgrown and washed out due to rain. Wear shorts on the trails at your own risk 🏜️
Beautiful indoor pool where you can lap while looking up at the sky! Shame it doesn’t get used more by the residents or open it up to outsiders for a small fee. I’d teach a class or be a lap buddy.
We enjoyed the Harfest festival. Numerous vendors with jewelry clothing and professional artists. There were a number of food trucks for food and drinks. The facility is very nice with a beautiful well groomed grassy area. You do have to watch were your walking as the sidewalks need some leveling.
I was here to work but it is indeed a beautiful place good trails and well maintained.
I like the polite people and the good energy!
