TLDR: recently got work done by these folks and very pleased with the results, would def hire again. the work was to fill in a large window which due to a prior home addition, didn’t look outside but into the added room. one side of the window was finished with sheetrock & textured to match existing finish and the other side was stuccod to match its surroundings.
felipe was quick to make it out to my house to look at the work that was needed and price it up. i thought at first the price was a little high but it was comparable to other bids i received and i preferred to stay as local as possible. in addition, once i saw how much labor went into the project, i felt it was priced right.
the gentlemen who showed up to do the work were on time, polite and professional. they arrived with a company truck, tools etc., well prepared and ready to go. it was hot, july, and there was no ac in the area they were working but that didn’t seem to phase them. they covered everything in protective plastic and got to work. they cleaned up after themselves every step of the way and at the end of each day. i’d brought a shopvac out for them to use but not only had they’d brought their own, they also had brooms and rags and such which was a pleasant surprise to see how well prepared they were. they really seemed to care about their workmanship. these were true skilled and experienced tradesmen not just labor for hire. they seemed to take pride in their the work they were doing which i greatly appreciated.
on the 2nd/last day of the project the power went out at my house, early, before they’d even arrived. i was able to get someone in the office a little after 7am to let them know, they felt it wouldn’t be a problem and it wasn’t. the truck has power and they were able to carry on business as usual. the power was out all morning & afternoon and towards the end, they’d run out of water for the stucco (because i’m on a well and without power for the pump, eventually tank ran dry). at one point i’d considered running to the local water kiosk which is about 8 miles away and this bothered the gentlemen a bit, because they cared! because they saw it as an inconvenience to me that they felt bad for but i did not, it wouldn’t have been a big deal for me and no reflection on them. as luck would have it my neighbors were able to give us enuf to finish. it’s just the fact that they cared so much that compelled me to write about it.
there was one con and that’s the scheduling process. while my schedule is highly flexible, not everyone’s is and it was weird that i’d given them the deposit then not heard from anyone for more than a month. i could’ve been more proactive myself but felipe said 4 wks so i didn’t follow up till after a month had passed. once i did the ball got rolling and the job got done with one, coordinated as expected, schedule change. it was just awkward at first not hearing from anyone esp since it was our first contract together, i started having doubt. i ended up on these google reviews and saw other ppl had scheduling problems and that gave me more doubt. but all in all, the way things turned out, it really wasn’t a big deal for me personally. all i can say is if its that important to you, be proactive and talk to them before letting it become a bigger issue than it needs to be, i’m sure they will do their best to accommodate.
Did one job on the exterior of our house.. It was great. Contracted to remodel our kitchen, did okay.. Cant get a response to fix an issue with the kitchen and they ignored several requests for quotes on other work and from people we recommended them to. Pretty disappointing.
11/01 Edit: My wife will reach out to your office in the coming week. Looking forward to updating this review.
From start to finish, we had a complete bath remodel with this company. Our old house had old plumbing in our bathroom which needed to be replaced. We used professional contracting for the plumbing job, then decided to wait a little to save more money for the actual bath remodel.
Once we were ready to pay for the final project, we naively thought “all contractors are the same, it doesn’t matter which one we use”. My husband decided to go with a DIFFERENT contractor (Bath Planet). Long story short, we ended up paying Bath Planet about 3,500 just to get out of a contract with them (zero work on their part). That is beside the point!
After that we moved on, put our nose to the grindstone, and saved more. Then we finally did what we should have done in the first place-stuck with the same reputable, honest company that did our plumbing work in the past for the rest of the remodel.
Prices were very reasonable on the estimate. They were very responsive to any questions we might have, and also gave us reasonable timelines on when things could be completed. As far as the quality of work, we went from a gutted bare bones bathroom, to a functional and aesthetic bathroom of our choosing. I will add pictures, because the work speaks for itself! A+
This team was amazing! They did excellent work, were kind and respectful, and were fair/honest. I felt comfortable having them in my home and they did high quality work. I will definitely plan on hiring them for my next project!
Scheduled work to be done early july , paid two days after consultation. Was told it’ll be done three weeks out. It’s been 2 and a half months and heard nothing back , finally got ahold of someone to get told they simply forgot to schedule the work to be done. I ended up finding a contractor who’s charging me only a couple hundred vs. these bozos charging me nearly 1k and is doing same day installation . Very unprofessional , shoudve known better to go through these guys when they’re running their business out of a shack
