   Ten years ago, our contractor recommended that we shop at Unique for our renovated outdoor space. We loved the quality of their furniture and bought three separate outdoor living spaces’ worth of furnishings. Fast forward and we moved but took our prized outdoor furniture to Napa. The movers kept all of the pieces, but we had no idea how to reassemble our fancy cantilevered umbrella stand.

   On a whim, I emailed Sean to ask for his help, a decade later. How awesome that he called me within 18 hours to offer his support and sent me a link to online videos and instruction manuals to reassemble my fancy umbrella! THIS is why I truly value local business owners who care about their clients, even after the sale! Definitely highly recommend Unique for fantastic quality outdoor furniture and incredible ongoing customer service! Thank you, Sean!!

   Great company to work with, we used them on a custom outdoor kitchen project to design the island and source most of the components and the aluminum frame. Karla was very helpful in selecting various components and very accommodating in the many component and CAD iterations it took to get everything just right. Highly recommend them, especially if you are your own “general contractor” as a homeowner. I installed the frame and the components myself, and coordinated with my own plumber, electrician, and granite contractors. I installed the outdoor kitchen island over a year ago, and everything is working great with almost daily use.

   My only gripe is with Graysen Woods, the company that makes the aluminum outdoor kitchen frame. Instead of welding on the countertop overhang supports, they simple bolt the support on, with all bolts in single line parallel to the ground. This makes the support basically useless for supporting granite. If you are considering a graysen woods frame with a counter overhang, I would ask them to either weld the overhang support, or ask them leave a gap in the cement board so you can add your own 90 degree support bracket. Second, their leveling shims are terrible and didn’t look like they’d hold up at all, so I ended up fabricating my own from aluminum.

   WOW !! I purchased an AOG grill and burner set 9 years ago. I had it plumbed for NG but recently discovered we had a NG leak under our 9 year old patio which we didn’t want to tear up. So, we converted the NG system to LP. We had a. few questions so I called the store and received EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE !! Sean answered all of our questions, provided the documentation we needed to ensure we had the “right stuff”, and shared lots of good, useful information. It’s so nice to know they’re there for their customers long AFTER the sale! I highly recommend this outfit for you outdoor kitchen needs!

   The first time you go to Unique Outdoor Living you’ll feel like you’re off the side of a side road on the way to Alice’s Restaurant . . . but it’s worth every turn of your steering wheel because what greets you is a complete outdoor living store set, not surprisingly, mostly outdoors.

   Better yet, the customer service level offered by proprietor Sean McElhone is peerless. My initial contacts with Sean resulted in a well-designed and equipped barbecue kitchen for our new home, based on a unique aluminum framing system that made it easy for our contractor to assemble and install. Everything was designed well and delivered exactly on time.

   But there was to be more. We had purchased a gas firepit from another vendor and had a lot of trouble making it work right. The manufacturer, the dealer, and the plumber all threw up their hands claiming no responsibility for the pits unsatisfactory performance.

   So I called Sean who spent the time to look up the specs and suggest some equipment changes that I could do. That helped but did not completely solve the problem, so he sent his plumber who found the problem and fixed it on a Friday afternoon. Mind you, he had to travel over 35 miles through weekend traffic to get to my place.

   If you are looking for any sort of outdoor living equipment or ideas, get to Unique Outdoor Living . . . don’t stop anywhere else first!

   Really loved the store. We did a substantial backyard kitchen project and shopped around a lot. In the end we went with Sean from Unique Outdoor Living because he was not only passionate and friendly, but also had a huge range of brands and pricepoints available.
   He helped us find just the right setup for our needs.

   Why i write this review: Everyone can sell a product, but Sean goes the extra mile. Unfortunately one of the heaters we bought had a manufacturing defect and after 6 month burned out. Shawn worked with the manufacturer and got us a free replacement.
   I was REALLY impressed how Shawn stands by his product, even after the sale!
   This showed again, going with Unique Outdoor was the right choice!
