This feedback is focused strictly on the service and experience, and is not a reflection of the product itself. Valcucine is undoubtedly one of the most premium kitchen brands on the market. However, the product is distributed by Dom Interiors, and unfortunately, the service provided by Dom Interiors falls far short of the high standards that Valcucine represents.
The staff at this location appeared inexperienced and unprofessional. Throughout the design process, I frequently had to request information multiple times before receiving a response. The team often needed to consult their New York office for technical details, but on numerous occasions, they forgot to follow up, requiring me to remind them.
Their lack of familiarity with the product was evident, and the information provided was insufficient. I had ordered a touch-latch system for the cabinets, but it turned out this feature was incompatible with the finish I had selected. Instead, I received a pull-to-open system, which altered the overall look of the kitchen. This crucial detail was not communicated during the design process and was only revealed after I pointed out that the wrong drawers had been delivered. Despite having proof that I requested the touch-latch system, they showed me an early draft and refused to acknowledge their mistake.
Moreover, the information provided to my general contractor was either delayed or inaccurate. Valcucine kitchens feature complex components that require specialized plumbing work, making it essential to receive precise technical information well in advance. However, these details were only provided after the contractor had already begun construction, which caused significant complications.
Lastly, the owner of Dom Interiors, Brian, has ordered the installation to stop until I sign a contract that differs from what was originally promised—essentially holding the installation hostage.
If you are set on having a Valcucine kitchen, even with the associated inconvenience, I strongly recommend seeking out a different dealer than Dom Interiors to avoid unnecessary headaches.
One of a kind showroom, and one of a kind product!
