BEYOND PISSED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!!! I had a technician come by and spray my home today. He tracked muddy footprints ALL throughout my ENTIRE house!!! It’s all over the floor, the carpet, on my children’s play-mats in their bedroom, and playroom. He even went as far as stepping on my 4yr old son’s BED!!!!! WHAT!!!!! THE!!!!!! HELL!!!! We have four very small children. They crawl all over the floors, play, etc. Therefore we do NOT allow shoes in our home WHATSOEVER!!! My youngest 1yr old child is IMMUNE COMPROMISED… we keep our house SPOTLESS because we have to, she gets sick easily and ends up in the hospital for 3-4 days every. single. time. I spent over an hour mopping up every single bit of mud but it’s all over my carpets and I don’t have the right equipment to properly clean it up. This is totally unacceptable. Did this man not have any human decency?!?! The footprint on my son’s bed is my breaking point!!! Frustrated, upset, pissed off, all of the things!! I am DONE with this company!!
Berrett Pest Control engaged in what can only be described as deceptive sales practices.
I called specifically requesting a one-time treatment. During the sales call, I was pushed into a service agreement after being explicitly told they were running a special and that I could cancel at any time without penalty. That statement was the deciding factor in agreeing.
When I later called to cancel, I was told — conveniently — that it was actually a term contract and could not be canceled.
I asked them to review the original sales call, as they were very clear about the “cancel anytime” claim. I was told they would listen to the recording and call me back. They never did.
I called again and spoke with a manager who claimed she would personally listen to the call. She later called back and admitted she did not listen to it herself, saying someone else did. They refused to provide the recording and simply said they were “standing by the agreement.”
So let’s be clear:
They upsell you under one set of terms, refuse to acknowledge what was said on their own recorded call, refuse to share the evidence, and then continue billing you anyway.
This is bait-and-switch behavior and shows a complete lack of honesty and accountability. If this is how they treat customers when there’s a dispute, I would strongly recommend avoiding this company at all costs.
Katlen has been an excellent partner for scheduling urgent appointments! Every Technician I have worked with has been an excellent subject matter expert and so considerate of the property and owner! Thank you Berrett for all of your help!
We have had a squirrel taking space in our attic off and one for a couple of years. Berrit Pest Control(via Noah) did a great job explaining what they would do, and Raul was thorough I know from the time he started until he left, hearing him do the work while I was home. He is very polite with great service as well.
They have been helping me with an ant problem for over three weeks without any improvement. It is difficult to schedule service because they only do time windows. The tech during my second service left without saying anything. Only giving 2/5 because the people on the phone are kind and considerate.
