Our 20 year old Jandy pool remote and controller recently stopped working for us. We got Aqua Pool’s name from the Jandy website as an authorized Jandy service company so we gave them a call. We scheduled an appointment with them to come out. The technician arrived on time, he was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. He identified the problem and suggested that there were two options for us, explained pros and cons of both options, and they would have to spec out the costs and send us a quote.
We got a quote for both options in a couple of days. The quotes were fair from the research I’d done. I spoke with Gary who was great and we chose to replace the whole unit with a newer model that integrates with a phone based app.
We scheduled for the replacement installation and the technician came back on time again. He got everything installed, everything pre-registered with Jandy for warranty purposes, and then took the time go over how the system works; he also made some recommended adjustments based on our setup.
Overall, I couldn’t have hoped for a better experience. I would highly recommend them. We will definitely be using them again for any future pool issues that we run into.
This company is completely insensitive to their customers. They don’t listen, don’t care, and they definitely don’t take responsibility when things go wrong. I explained multiple times that their delays and mistakes were creating huge problems for my family but they brushed it off like it was no big deal. Their attitude was dismissive, rude, and honestly insulting. Instead of showing any empathy or trying to make things right they acted like I should just deal with it. The lack of respect and basic human decency was unbelievable. It’s one thing for a company to make mistakes it happens but the way they treated me made it clear they only care about getting paid and not about their customer’s time or money. If you’re looking for a company that will treat you with respect and actually care about your concerns this is NOT the one.
Called for service to my pool. Was told they do not service my area. Confused because they are only 3 miles away from me I asked “so no Bay Point”? They then claimed they do not deal with Hwy 4. I was extremely confused by this. With where they are located how do they get anywhere without dealing with Hwy 4 traffic. So I asked “so you don’t go to Pittsburgh, Antioch, Brentwood or Oakley and he told me NO they do not!
Today driving from Bay Point I passed one of their trucks in the “we don’t deal with area”. I have also seen their trucks in my Dad’s neighborhood in Antioch.
It’s obvious they are too good for Bay Point money!
It’s all good. My pool service is freaking fantastic!!!!!!
Don’t book, these guys are disrespectful person who lost my business by not having compassion or empathy. Would not recommend this guy who luckily i got his CA license #768494 and license plate 63810S1. No basic human rights.
Our pool is always jamming with humans and dogs… We also keep it very warm which creates its own challenges of keeping the water clear. The service from the pool techs to the guys on the phone, we have been thrilled with and happy to be in the Aqua Pool family. We re on our first pool but took us 4 pool companies to find one who just does it the right way with no games! I mean no BS. Recently we had glass in our pool and instead of draining it like everyone said to do, they vacuumed it and provided other techniques in which we could do on our own. Why? Because they said draining a pool would be the last effort and it saved us a lot of money and time. Honest information for the benefit of the customer. Ed from Clayton
