   We’ve had one pool service company for 3 years, Blue Science. Not just because of the company, not just because of the value, but because of Mikeal Faber-Smith. Mikeal is the utmost professional. From notifications that he’s 10 minutes out from our house so we can corral our dogs, to polite and meaning conversations about family and general happenings, to making sure our 37,000 gallon pool is always in working order and the water is ready to jump into – Mikeal has been nothing short of incredible. Our pool is pretty large, and the service we get from Mikeal and Blue Science is always – I MEAN ALWAYS – top notch. If there’s ever been a pool issue (I can only recall two…algae and a filter problem) – the response is immediate and effective.

   As we prep to build a new house and a new pool – you bet your bottom / last dollar that we will have Blue Science as our pool service company and a personal request for Mikeal to be our service tech, if we’re not able to have Mikeal, I will find another pool service company.

   If you’re in the market for pool service company, HIGHLY RECOMMEND Pool Science and more specifically, Mikeal Faber-Smith.

   From start to finish, we received outstanding care and ended up with a beautiful new pool. Devin, our pool consultant, was very professional and dedicated to helping us get exactly what we wanted. He offered helpful design suggestions that made our backyard look amazing. The construction process went smoothly and quickly, with regular check-ins from Brent and the team. The crew was always respectful, worked hard, and kept everything tidy. When it was time to get the water ready, Maxwell and his crew had us swimming in no time. Maxwell also took the time to explain how to use and maintain our saltwater system, which was really helpful. The office staff was always friendly and supportive whenever we called with questions. Even with a short pause during a quarantine period, our pool was finished on schedule. We are extremely happy with the whole experience and the quality of service. Many companies could learn from the high standards and great customer service we experienced here.

   After living in our San Antonio home for 20 years, we decided it was time to give our pool a complete makeover. We hired Blue Science for a full pool renovation, including removing and replacing the decking, stabilizing the surrounding soil, updating the coping, installing new edge tiles, and putting in a fresh WetEdge pool interior. At the same time, other crews were working on our concrete retaining wall and adding flagstone to the patio, plus we were installing landscape lighting and redoing the sprinkler system. Even though we started during a particularly rainy spring, Maxwell, the project manager, kept us informed every step of the way. His calm and professional attitude really put us at ease, and we always knew what was going on with the project. The entire process took several months, but the team’s technical skills and attention to detail were outstanding. The WetEdge crew, led by Brent, did a fantastic job on the pool interior. Pool start-up, water balancing, and even a helpful “Pool School” session were handled by Ryan, who clearly has a lot of experience and knowledge in pool care. Maxwell’s leadership and organization made the whole project run smoothly. Whenever we had a question or concern, he always responded quickly and made sure everything was taken care of. The whole crew worked hard to address any minor issues, and we always felt like customer satisfaction was their top priority. Now, as we head into another hot San Antonio summer, we have a beautiful, fully refreshed pool that we know will last for many years to come. We’re so glad we chose Blue Science for our pool cleaning and renovation needs, and we highly recommend their services for anyone looking to make their pool the highlight of their backyard.

   I’ve worked with Ryan for customer service since my pool remodel, and he has always responded quickly and professionally. That’s rare these days, especially in pool service. It really takes away the stress of getting the right info when you need it. This company recently finished a mechanical update on all my pool equipment—valves, pumps, heater, lights, and even added automation. The whole project was finished on time and works just as they said it would. Everything was handled professionally, and the team kept me updated with good communication from start to finish. Since I upgraded all my pool equipment, I decided to let them handle the weekly pool maintenance too. The service has been excellent. I get an email after each visit with details about what was done, the water chemistry, and even some pictures. I highly recommend this company for any pool services.
