Dan and his team have managed my pool for quite some time now. They do an outstanding job. Dan always calls back when I need to speak with him.
Although I am not a regular user of Dan’s Pool service for my business, Texan House—a senior living community (we have a handyman who maintains it for us) I have had the opportunity to use them multiple times. On two separate occasions last year alone, my handyman was out of town for extended periods due to family situations and my pool quickly turned swamp green and I was unable to correct it on my own. I immediately called Dan’s who sent out Steve Catlett who got my pool from “green to pristine” in a matter of hours and had us back swimming the next day. Their quick response and knowledgeable crew saved me a ton of headaches and frustration. If you find yourself in need of help from the pros—these are your guys. Thanks, Dan’s Pool Service!
We moved into our home about 6 months ago and called Dan’s Pool service for maintenance and the service has been great. They have even supported us when American Home Shield did some repairs. They provided advice and inspection after the repairs. Skylar is very polite and really good about keeping us advised on any issues. Great company!
I have been delighted with Dan’s Pools, specifically with Dale. Dale is not only efficient, he is kind and goes out of his way to answer questions we have about our aging pool. Once when we were out of town, I knew Dale was servicing the pool. We had a security alarm go off. I called Dale and asked him to take a look around the house and yard. He did and assured me everything was as it should be. Dale cares about us in addition to our pool! I really like the fact that he always texts when he’s on his way. I highly recommend Dan’s Pools and Dale!
Do yourself a favor and call another company to clean or service your pool. The service tech we had with Dan’s Pool Service quit but no one bothered to inform us and we kept getting bills. Unknown to us our pool was not serviced for 2 months before we realized we were getting an algae problem. When we called we were only then told that no one had come for 2 months. The excuse they gave was (get this) “Oh we drove by but the gate wasn’t open and it looked like no one was home so we stopped coming.” Really? No one thought they should call the 2 phone numbers they have for us? We even gave them the opportunity to fix it but after a month more our pool is still green. Customer service is non existent and then they make a point to try to make it the customer’s fault all the while never bothering to communicate. We have never had such problems with a pool company before. Run, don’t walk to another pool company.
