Valentino and his team made our replastering process a breeze! We bought our home with an old unused pool that had been empty for over 5 years and they worked with our budget to get it looking fantastic! We got new plaster, led pool light and new filter. Would recommend their services to anyone! Valentino even took time to advise me on other issues that came up long after the job was completed.
We were referred to Generation Pool Plastering in the hopes of remedying a previous sub-standard plaster job by another contractor.
First the owners do a great job communicating – it’s summer and they are very busy but rarely did an email take more than 24 hours to get a response from Erma (even on weekends) – usually an email came back within a few hours and a text was almost immediate.
Valentino’s experience is invaluable when picking finishes – he knows the weather impacts in Reno and understands how pool chemicals affect different finishes. My advice – heed HIS advice.
His demo and plaster crews are hard working pros. They run a professional process – the foreman communicates proactively, they listened to my wife and I when we had questions, worked with us to address details and left a clean job site.
I thought the pricing was reasonable and when I asked for some considerations they were willing to listen and offer solutions where they could.
I know there are other options, but this is a 4th generation family-run business who care about what they do and how they do it.

Generation Pool Plastering did a nice job in re-plastering my pool. But more importantly, the customer service and follow-up was outstanding. Valentino and his wife make a great team when communicating with the customer and ensuring satisfaction. Valentino is prompt in replying to VMs or emails. This is a solid family business that I recommend to anyone wanting any pool work done.
New Generation Pool company was a blessing to work with. They built our pool and poured our cement. The father, son and crew are some of the hardest working guys I’ve ever seen. Very professional, respectful and straight forward with their business. The work they did looks awesome and we’re really happy to with everything they did. I highly recommend them!
Generation Pool Plastering has been really great thus far in terms of their customer service. The staff there is very friendly. Jose came out for an estimate on our pool remodeling project and the estimate was fair. He responds quickly to all of my questions. Erma in their showroom had great suggestions for tile and plastering. Looking forward to the finished project when its all done and more reviews to follow
