   We have a very large above ground pool and I was having some issues with the shock I was currently using. They recommended a different one which would require less product and actually saved me money! They’re very knowledgeable and professional! Definitely recommend!

   It’s a family run buisness and the owner is a super good guy. I recently moved to El Paso and bought a home with a rather large pool , Î have never had a pool before.

   Jerry is happy to share his knowledge with you and will come to your home to fix what ever you CANT

   He replaced the grids in my D E filter and fixed my spider valve and told me all about how the systym works

   This is one of the most unprofessional small businesses I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve been there several times and had to wait as much as 45 minutes for them to to open, past the opening time. When calling, the VM is often full. Promised callbacks don’t happen. I made the mistake of having them clean my DE pool filter. I specifically told them if it needed to be replaced to go ahead and do that. Instead, they did a really bad job cleaning the filter, and didn’t replace anything. I had problems because water wasn’t flowing through the filter and went back several times to try to get someone to come back out. When they finally sent someone, he told me they didn’t clean the filter properly and used too much DE powder. After some research, I also found out the DE powder is supposed to be diluted before adding it. They dumped over 5# of powder directly into the skimmer. This caused blowback into the pool and clogged up the filter. See pics – the filter elements were also just falling apart. When I called to ask about this, the owner said it wasn’t their fault, that I had algae. Well, I DID NOT have algae until they did such a poor job with the filter. They seem like nice people but really don’t seem to know how to run a business or what they’re doing out in the field.

   Excellent all around. 5/5! The owners are great people. I have been able to come in and take a water sample. I get accurate results, and accurate recommendations on our to keep my water looking clean and safe to swim in. I’m able to ask questions and learn from the owners. I’ve purchased a BWT cleaning robot, and it’s given me great results. The owner came out to my pool, provided me with recommendations and even showed me how to operate my pool filter, and provided me with recommendations pertaining to plastering and my water slide with cost estimates for free. I highly recommend everyone to support this local business. —-Update—-I wanted to share a video of my pool. I’m able to go and get my pool water tested for free, and receive recommendations on getting it back into shape! I posted a video for reference. I highly recommend Jay’s Blue Water!

   We have had a hard time with getting our pool clear. We tried getting it professionally cleaned multiple times but, it never got clear. We went to a competitor pool supply chain multiple times and bought all the chemicals they recommended and none of it worked. We finally decided to try out Jay at Discount Pool Supplies. He analyzed our pool water and took the time to explain what was going on with our pool. We had to see him multiple times because we had a lot going on with the pool but, he explained what to do step-by-step each time we came in. He never tried to sell us something we didn’t need. He tried to help us save money buy teaching us what to do. He even honors a military discount. So we are so excited that we finally have a clear pool! From green to clean thanks to Jay!
