Charles and his crew have taken care of my pool needs for some time now. Always very responsive, straight shooters and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend. Had to replace all of my equipment after the apocalyptic Houston freeze in 2021. They took care of me quick and didn’t gouge me!
In October 2018 upon moving into our new home we hired Lone Star to replace our pool lights, pump, and a filter cleaning. All was great until I discovered this light sitting at the bottom of our pool. I noticed the small screw holding this light in place was broken with a piece of the screw stuck inside the bracket. Figuring there would be at least a 1 year warranty I called the owner. He refused to conduct a free fix and instead wanted a fee of $150 to repair or secure this light. He said “I don’t know if someone pulled on it”. We spent a lot of money on not only these lights but a new pump and filter cleaning. Apparently they do not warranty their parts as this was installed by them 9 months ago. Pool was not used during the winter and has hardly been swam in. He ended our call with some expletives as he hung up on me after I informed him I’d be posting my review and opinion. I’m also going to share this on our community Facebook page as most of us have swimming pools.
Where do I start, worst pool service ever. Lied about vacuuming pool, told me his guy fell of the wagon occasionally is why he didn’t show up for scheduled cleaning, then left pool filthy. Pic is how pool was left after they serviced it. Contacted him and he told me to run the Polaris for a few hours to pick up the dirt!!
Have used the services of Lone star pool services for the last 8 years and could not be any happier. They have been like family to us. Always caring and supportive to our needs with repairs and maintenance. Recommend these guys 10/10!!
Amazing pool service made my pool go from Grinch green to Bahama blue. I already scheduled a follow-up. Worth every single penny, and I’m grateful I called this professional group of young men to help clean my pool. They also educated me on ways to save money so I don’t have to constantly pay for pool service.
