I would leave more than 5 stars if I could! I’ve stayed in many hotels all over the world and this was truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I booked a surprise birthday weekend for my partner and worked closely with Madison from Guest Experience to plan the entire stay. She was absolutely incredible! So responsive, thoughtful, and detail-oriented. She made sure the room was set up beautifully and went above and beyond to make the weekend feel special.
The service throughout the entire property was a 10/10. Jason at the front desk was warm and helpful from the moment we arrived. Carla at Prairie was so nice and helpful, and dinner at Trick Rider was fabulous. Henry at Apron was so kind and even surprised my partner with Diet Cokes for his birthday (his favorite), which was such a thoughtful touch.
From the spa to the grounds to every single staff member we interacted with, everything was seamless and exceptional. This was hands down one of the most enjoyable vacations we’ve had, and we can’t wait to come back!
Came here for a work event where we had a huge block of rooms. I reserved a single and ended up with a double. There were only two selections of rooms upon registering. Some people ended up in suites. Some people ended up with patios. I ended up with neither of those things but two beds and a plate glass window..The guy told me I had a great view of the golf course, which I could see but what I really had a view of was the entire patio and fire pit area. There was no menu or any kind of information in the room to tell you about restaurants, where when or what to order, no workspace, just a couple of low profile chairs with a round table. As much money as my company spent for us to have this event here and as highly as it is touted, I truly expected more. The staff that handled our evening event was very nice and on top of things, and the check-in process was quite friendly. The food was good, drinks were weak at best, however. More of a “you’re stuck at this resort” feel because there is nothing within walking distance of this place to do. You would have to Uber or have a rental and drive a good distance if you are not planning on eating or hanging out at the property the whole time. I live in Frisco and have been to this property for a couple Of events prior, that had never stayed here before. Glad that it was company funded, because I could not imagine forking out the cash to have a staycation here based on my experience. Disappointing.
We stayed here during one of the hardest moments of our lives—the one-year anniversary of our son’s passing. From the moment we arrived, the care and compassion shown by the staff was extraordinary.
The entire team went above and beyond to make us feel supported, seen, and cared for. Every employee we encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely human. The extra thought and attention helped make an incredibly heavy day feel just a little lighter.
This was more than a hotel stay—it was a place of rest, safety, and grace when we needed it most. We will always be grateful.
The caffe has the best employees, and they are youngsters. I interacted with four of them. They are vibrant and happy to be there. For the six days I spent at the hotel, they made me feel like I came home to see my younger siblings. Amazing feeling! I love those guys!
