   We had an amazing experience working with Platinum Pools. As first time pool owners, we came in completely unsure of the process. Our designer, Buddy Harrott, made everything clear and approachable from the start. He was patient, knowledgeable, and truly thoughtful in designing a plunge pool that fit perfectly into our very tight space. Honestly his design is what ultimately gave us the confidence to move forward! Buddy came highly recommended by a neighbor, and we’re happy to recommend him now as well.

   Our project manager, Desmond Reed, was terrific from day one. He was always available to answer questions, kept the project running smoothly, and made the construction phase feel easy and worry free. His confidence reassured us that everything was being done right and on schedule.

   So if you’re considering a new pool, especially in a smaller/challenging space, we highly recommend Platinum Pools, Buddy Harrott for design and Desmond Reed to bring it all to life.

   We recently finished our backyard pool with Platinum Pools, and the project turned out far better than we expected. Our yard is on the smaller side, so we weren’t sure a meaningful pool would fit—but we ended up with a much larger pool than expected, making the most of the space.

   Buddy Harrott, our designer, did an excellent job turning our vague ideas into a smart layout with raised hot tub, tanning shelf, water features, and lighting that maximized every inch. He was meticulous, even considering how the pool would look from inside the house. Buddy created a detailed 3D model and incorporated our feedback, though the final design was very close to his original concept. Buddy stayed in touch from start to finish, never disappearing after the sale which gave us confidence throughout the process.

   Desmond, our project manager, was well organized and responsive. He explained the construction process step by step, kept us informed about when subcontractors would be on site, and addressed our concerns promptly. We underestimated the amount of work involved, but every crew was hardworking and professional, which made the disruption manageable.

   The handover involves their Pool School, which was excellent. They taught us how to the equipment worked, how to use and maintain the equipment, and answered our questions—especially helpful since we’re first-time pool owners.

   Tips from Our Experience:

   Add Extra Decking
   It ties the backyard together nicely, creates natural spots for chairs, and provides a comfortable area to hangout

   Install a Separate Pump for Water Features
   This allows you to run the hot tub and water features at the same time without compromising performance.

   Upsize the Heater
   A larger heater means faster heating times for both the hot tub and the pool.

   Consider Pool Depth
   Since we didn’t plan on adding a slide or diving board, we kept the maximum depth at 5.5 feet. This allows faster pool heating times.

   Bottom Line: If you want a straightforward, professional build with a design that fits your space with clear communication, we highly recommend Platinum Pools. The process was well managed, the team was ethical, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. The finished pool exceeded our expectations.

   Platinum Pools built our pool, and we had an excellent experience from start to finish. Ian helped design our pool exactly as promised and kept everything on schedule.
   Desmond Reed, our project manager was absolutely amazing, super helpful and great to work with throughout the entire process. We love our new pool and will definitely recommend Platinum Pools! Thanks to everyone involved for making the process so smooth!

   Platinum Pools has exceeded all our expectations!

   Nick was the absolute best!! He stuck with us for over a year while we worked out all the obstacles with our HOA and other issues. Every hurdle we came across Nick was there to walk us through it. Nick listened to us on how we needed the pool design to be and gave us exactly what we were looking for. When changes were needed or required he was quick to take care of it and get it back to us.

   Anthony and his crew then jumped in and got our pool build completed in record time.

   We couldn’t more pleased!

   I absolutely LOVE my new pool!! Harrison was my pool designer and he was patient, awesome, and super responsive to any questions along the way! He designed the perfect pool for my family! Anthony was our project manager and he gave updates, answered all my questions, and finished ahead of schedule! During the process there were continuous updates via text, and emails to let you know the next step. I had pool school with Jordan and he was so thorough and knowledgeable! He took time to explain all the equipment, everything about the pool, and maintenance! I was worried about being a first time pool owner and he made me feel at ease on all the parts and pieces of the pool. I am so grateful for their team! This was the first time I built a pool and it couldn’t have been any better! Thank you guys for being so awesome!
