   If you want green pool hire them!
   Obviously would not recommend this to anybody. We have been using this company for over a year and it kept on getting worse and worse. They don’t clean or service the pool properly.

   ***update*** It is not false review. The pool was just like this when your technician left. We fired you because your technician didn’t do her job properly. She did not have a vacuum nor a wire brush. Every week she used our vacuum adapter to halfway vacuum the pool. We did not have a single complaint about 2 months ago when the pool was done properly and its chemicals were balanced. Now, all chemicals are unbalanced, pool is green, we have black green yellow algae, 280 CYA, 5.9 PH, and 10 FC, and you have records of it. Check with your assistant and you see we brought this condition to your attention the same day after cleaning, 09/13. We are not posting anything false, just the reality and you know it!

   Update 6/20/25: Poolside acknowledged not calling and is working diligently to earn our business. So far they have been professional discussing the issue.
   Original: Had an appointment for 8:30-9:00am. 9:30am rolled around and no one had shown up so i called and was told Mike would be there sometime in the morning, but definitely before noon. Noon rolled around, no Mike. 5pm rolled around, no Mike. No one called to check in, apologize, or reschedule. That’s a bad way to start. I would have understood if someone called with an update, but there was no communication.

   I do not recommend Poolside Services to anyone. Mike was pleasant enough when he came out and took a look at my spa leak. He was given a leak detection report on the spa and said he could do the repair. He gave me a quote, which I agreed to and asked for half deposit down to do the repair. (seemed reasonable to me). After a lot of back and forth, Mike finally sent somebody to do the repair. His technician dug a hole and repaired a 90 degree joint on the plumbing at the back of one of my spa jets. Even though the leak detection report found the leak inside the spa jet wall with pictures showing the leak. His technician was there about an hour. I have a camera in my backyard so I know exactly how long he was there. The next day the spa was still leaking. I asked Mike to come back and take a look and see what he could find. After a couple days back and forth again, he said he came by and looked and that everything looked okay, which was a blatant lie. I have video footage of Mike walking to the front of my house and then for some reason turned around and never going into the backyard. I asked him about it and he said oh yeah I didn’t check it because I couldn’t get in. Another lie the gate was unlocked the entire time. Mike then continued to not return my calls or texts nor my requests for a corrected invoice for a fair amount of the work done. I would have been happy to pay for the hour worth of labor and the part that was replaced. Nothing. No response. I still have not been refunded anything from the company. I am guessing the job turned into something bigger that Mike did not want to take on, which is fine. Just be honest with your customer.
   This is an unprofessional group; completely unresponsive, and lies to their customers.

   I do not recommend this company to anyone. They have been “cleaning” our pool for a year or so. Two months ago they told us we needed a new filter. We agreed, didn’t question the price but the filter was never ordered and to this day not shown up. The last three weeks the service has gotten progressively worse. They decided to raise their monthly rate to $220 which they justified by the increased pricing on chemicals. We agreed, however since the day they raised the rate the pool guy claimed to be adding chemicals each week. Our pool is completely green. We were told the owner Mike would come today to install the filter and fix the situation. Mike came today but spent exactly 3 minutes in the backyard and did absolutely nothing. He said that he is the owner and comes to look so he can guide his guys and that he doesn’t do the work. Mike has forgotten about how to take care of his customer! I gave this one star because there isn’t an ability to give negative stars.

   Needed my pool pump replaced. They did it in 30 minutes very professional and efficient. I couldn’t ask for anything more. Since my pool pump was Energy Star Efficient. It qualified for CPS rebate – Poolside filled out all the paper work and I just mailed it in. Thanks Poolside Will definitely be calling you again for my pool concerns AWESOME AWESOME
