RRPP built my pool in 2021.. A small crack developed into a large one. None of the pool virus going around, just a patch of bad gunite. He fixed it and it looks as good as new. And he didn’t cut corners as you can see. Thank you around Rock Pool Pros. You stand behind your work!

Pool Repair Nightmare: Six Months, $400, and Zero Solutions
I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with Round Rock Pool Pros. Our experience with them was an absolute nightmare, spanning over six months and costing us $400, only to end up with an unrepaired pool and a ridiculously unhelpful and INCORRECT diagnosis.
    ⏳ The Endless Waiting Game
They initially came out for a relatively simple pool repair issue. Over the next half a year, they made a few visits each one concluding with a part that was seemingly impossible to get. Communication was poor, I had to call them every 2-3 weeks for updates, and the actual time spent on diagnosis was minimal compared to the agonizing wait times between appointments.
    💸 Money Down the Drain
We were charged approximately $400 for these inconclusive visits—money spent purely on their inability to diagnose or fix the problem. They billed us for their time and labor which ultimately amounted to nothing more than burning through our budget.
    ❌ The Final, Incorrect Verdict
After six months of this back-and-forth, their final “professional” opinion was that the issue was a major, expensive malfunction—either the motherboard or some other major, core component of our pool system needed replacement. They essentially gave up, suggesting a costly overhaul was the only option.
    ✅ Proof of Incompetence
Fed up with the incompetence, we called a second, reputable pool company for a fresh opinion. I am delighted to report that the second company was able to diagnose the actual issue and complete the necessary repairs in a timely and efficient manner, proving that the problem was not the costly motherboard/major component that Round Rock Pool Pros had insisted upon.
In summary: Round Rock Pool Pros wasted half a year of our time, took our money, and gave us an incorrect diagnosis that would have cost us thousands more. I strongly advise anyone needing pool repair to look elsewhere. Do not use this company unless you enjoy months of frustration and throwing money away.

If you are looking for a team that does it all and cares during the process Round Rock Pool Pros is it. Don’t look anywhere else. Kevin and Wes were amazing when it came to building and designing our dream pool the pool. Even when we changed a few things along the way Wes and Kevin worked with us to get the design right. They not only kept to there timeline but finished a few weeks ahead of schedule. We were able to have our daughter’s birthday party which was amazing. Wes, would always answer any question we had about the system. Kevin, was always keeping us in the loop on the next steps. These 2 guys work great as a team to get the pool finished. If you are thinking in building a pool call them today.

Thank you guys. You brought to life our dream pool.

We were in desperate need of a waterfall remodel. Round Rock Pool Pros did excellent work and our finished product was better than we imagined. Fred was great to work with and he made sure every step was done professionally and was exactly what we wanted. So happy with the work and highly recommend!

Disappointing Experience with Round Rock Pools. I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Round Rock Pools for a pool remodel project that turned out to be a source of frustration and disappointment. We signed a contract with them in mid-November 2022, with the understanding that the project would take approximately 3 weeks. However, the final walk-through didn’t happen until a staggering 7 MONTHS later on June 21, 2023.

Throughout the entire process, numerous issues arose that significantly impacted my satisfaction with their services. The floor cleaning nozzles repeatedly popped out due to improper installation, and the concrete coping cracked within months of completion. The in-floor cleaning system failed to work after the pool was filled, and initial attempts to address these problems were met with reluctance to accept responsibility.

Finally, one particular incident that stands out is the recent request for a simple reinstallation of a floor cleaning nozzle that was not properly installed. Justin, the owner of Round Rock Pools, insisted on charging $150 for a 5-minute task since it their work was finished 4 months ago, citing a supposed 4-month warranty period that was never communicated to us during the initial agreement.

Communication has been a constant challenge, and it’s disheartening to encounter such resistance to addressing issues that arose within months of project completion. The timeline was grossly extended, and the quality of workmanship did not meet our expectations.

One notable discovery occurred when we agreed to drain the pool at our expense to investigate a malfunction in the in-floor cleaning system. We had a clear agreement that if no obstructions were found in the floor cleaning system, I would cover the cost, but if plaster was discovered in the floor drain, Round Rock Pools would bear the expense. Unfortunately, a significant amount of plaster was flushed out, affirming the issues in their workmanship.

I hope sharing my experience serves as a cautionary tale for others considering Round Rock Pools for their projects. It’s essential to thoroughly review contracts, communicate expectations clearly, and be cautious about potential post-project charges that were never initially disclosed. In my case, the promises made during the sales process did not align with the reality of the work delivered.
