   Not sure about their service but the driver of the company truck nearly ran over a child getting off the bus. Complete disregard for the community driving through the grass around a school bus. Basically saying my time is more valuable than a child’s life. That alone will make sure not to hire this company for any business in the future unless the driver of that truck is removed from the company

   We used them for almost 2 years. At first our long term tenants told us at the end of their year that they weren’t going, and we didn’t believe them because we spoke to them and they sounded completely confused as to why someone would say that. We had no way of knowing since the tenants told us after the fact.

   That being said, multiple times I asked for weekly updates or pictures or even a text saying they’d gone. Literally any indication at all. They’d say they would do it then never did.

   Then when we started managing the house as a short term rental is became clear there was an issue. I continued asking them to tell me when they’re going, especially because we have guests there who need to know what to expect. They never would tell me. A few times guests complained the pool was dirty, one time there was a screw in the pool. Every time I’d go it looked like they did a haphazard attempt at cleaning. I appreciate loyalty and wanted to keep trying but when a guest said they showed up and it was dirty and I couldn’t get ahold of them for 16 hours, it was the last straw. I called the two phone numbers I had a few times and texted and when someone finally responded it was a casual they’ll be there today, this is when they normally go. I wouldn’t know that since they never tell me. I asked them to tell me what time, never responded just said he’d go (response was 3 hours later). Day later I asked if he went. 16 hours later he says he went. I let him know we’ve found a new company and he just says “Alright I’ll send the final invoice”
   My guest then sends a video of a very loud humming sound. I ask if they have any idea what’s going on. Day and a half later they say the guy heard something was off but it was running.
   All that to say, poor communication, lack of caring for the actual pool when you’re relying on them to be experts, poor job doing simple cleaning. My new pool company went by a couple days later and said the ph balance was all out of whack and the motor is completely broken.

   My pool has never been in better shape! Jesse is very detail oriented and is always a pleasure to work with. I like the flexibility their schedule offers me as we host a lot of parties and have asked for special schedules throughout the summer weeks. I love working with this small business!

   Do NOT use this company. Read the entire review to gain a better understanding. I used this company for over a year. I was extremely patient and sympathetic to the continual excuses. They missed weeks, wouldn’t reply to basic communication and provided decent service along the way. On several occasions I had to tell my kids they couldn’t swim because our pool hadn’t been serviced and worst of all I couldn’t tell them when the pool would be serviced. I provided this information to the company hoping this would encourage better service, but it meant nothing. Today was the final straw that made me cancel service. I informed the company I would provide a family with a special needs child unlimited access to my pool so cleanliness and proper chemicals were essential. They missed service that week. I followed up yesterday and still no response or service. The company is great about making excuses for why something didn’t happen but you get more excuses than service. Do not waste your time unless you’re planning not to use your pool so service doesn’t matter. Read post within the last yr and you’ll see a consistent theme.

   Jessie cares about more than just the pool, he cares about his customers,, which can’t be said for the corporate companies. Pool looks AMAZING, it went from swamp to crystal clear in just 4 days. Extremely thorough, knowledgeable & a nice guy to boot. I can’t recommend South Austin Pool Cleaning enough. Seriously, great experience!!
