I’ve tried the rest, and I finally found the best. Frank’s guy Tom came out and replaced my pump, which was done expertly, quickly, and for a very fair price. Frank then came out to my place to take a look at my pool and equipment. I learned more from him in the time than anyone else since owning a pool. Frank and his Pool Guys are my new weekly maintenance providers as well as my go-to for any issues that come up with equipment. They don’t just dump chemicals and leave, they care about the pool, which by extension means they care about their customers.
As a small business owner in Elk Grove, my wife and I appreciate how he goes about his business and what he stands for.
Best service we have had in years. Frank came out after our pool was replastered and we needed to get the water restarted with chemicals and scrubbing. He came out every dsy to take care of it. My service is once a week and sometimes during warm weather we do need to give a quick scrub so no algae starts to grow. He also replaced our old motor. Everything is now working and we have had no issues.
I called Frank at the Pool Guys Service in Sacramento from a web search. I had a pool in great need of repair. He provided an accurate competitive bid (he was not the only one I called). The work was done by Frank and his crew and was quickly and thoughtfully completed. He even followed up in person when I had a couple of questions regarding equipment after completion.
I can’t recommend The Pool Guys Service highly enough. The job was well done, the clean up impeccable, and all done with good natured, responsible attitudes. And the price was right! THANKS GUYS!!
We used these guys for a month or two because we bought a new house our first with a pool and they were already servicing the pool. That went south quickly… Right when is started warming up I got in the pool and noticed some algae on the walls. When my wife emailed to ask questions to know if we were neglecting some pool care we didn’t know we were responsible for, and after two emails we were told that he could tell we were going to be a “problem pool” and should look elsewhere for service. I am pretty sure he dropped us because he could tell he was about to get called out for failing to maintain the chemical balance and allowing algae to grow in our pool.
So, don’t go with these guys unless you’re a seasoned pool owner, as Frank doesn’t like to answer questions.
Edit after the owner’s response:
Why is this the first time I’m hearing any of that? I asked you to come over and go over stuff I needed to know about the pool and you never said, “hey this pool has a history of black algae, black algae doesn’t respond to normal chemical treatment. These are our options…”, or anything at all about it. All this could have been avoided if you just answered our questions and explained the situation. We’re far from unreasonable people, but we were completely ignorant about owning a pool, and made that fact very clear.
I found Frank & Connie via the internet. Choosing Pool Guys Service was one of the best decisions I made! Frank took care of my pool whenever I had a problem that I couldn’t solve. When I sold my house & relocated, I strongly recommended that the new ownerscohireFrank. Hope they did!
