Great communication and flexibility during an ice storm. The work was through a home warranty program that WaterTex handled directly to ensure everything was covered. I had them do additional work as well and pride was taken to make sure it was done and looked right. WaterTex has earned an opportunity for future work as I’m sure their bid would be competitive.

WaterTex Pools is truly elite when it comes to pool repairs. Their knowledge is next level, they’re incredibly kind and professional, and their communication is outstanding from start to finish. You always know exactly what’s going on, what needs to be done, and why. I highly recommend Jason and his team.

My home warranty company sent them out to repair my whirlpool. I only gave two stars because I feel they have great communication, everything else left much to be desired. I feel the technician that came to my home tried to sabotage my claim by giving false information. Then he proceeded to request and take a payment because of a rescheduled time. Good thing I will never have need of them again nor want their services. I wouldn’t recommend them if anyone asked me for a referral.

We hired WaterTex Pools to come examine a faulty piece of equipment, and WaterTex Pools exceeded my expectations. They identified the cause and fixed it at a great price. Then, when a subsequent fault happened with the part they’d fixed (possibly our pool time’s fault, not WaterTex’s fault), they drove out very promptly and fixed it at no charge, despite me asking what I owed them.

This is the “gold school” way of doing business, and it’s how you earn happy customers for life.

Thank you for the excellent service, Jason and WaterTex! I truly feel I got more than I paid for!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH. HWA sent out watertex pools for a small leak in a union kit for a Hayward North Star. The technician arrived, spun the cap and told the home warranty company that is was “cosmetic/normal wear and tear” and that we needed a brand new pump. HWA denied the claim. WaterTex then sent us an estimate for $3714.54 a new pump on the side. Back up to them charging us $85 to even come out….. we had to pay that prior. Knowing full well that we didn’t need a new pump since ours was operating fine we contacted OUR OWN company to come out. The tech we hired actually took the skew number and info off the pump to see if he could find a new union kit and he was able to, but stated he wanted to take it apart to make sure the new part was needed. Once our tech got into the pipe itself he found that the O ring had slipped down causing the cap not to tighten. He reseated the O ring, tightened the cap that watertex claimed/reported was stripped……. and the part is no longer leaking and operating fine. When I wrote a review on WaterTex about what had happened a man named JOHN called me back. He then told me that the repair the technician of my own did won’t last….. not sure how he can see the future but apparently he thinks he can….. I became upset when he demanded that the exact part we found off the sku and model number was not the right part and that there is NO WAY in the world anyone could ever get the part needed for this pump. The part we found with 112 in stock, matched the exact sku/model number on the actual pump itself, however JOHN started shouting when I responded that that’s a mute point because that part wasn’t needed anyway that the O ring had to be reseated for the cap to go back on…..

Bottom line the watertex tech never even looked inside the pipe to see the O ring had slipped down. All he did was spin it and say nope, you need a new pump…..They submitted information to the warranty company so the claim would be denied basically blaming us for stripping a part that can’t be stripped because it has no threads…..then when I asked for the $85 back because I was told something that wasn’t true, he said I was being irrational and told me that there was no way on earth that the repair that was done would last.

Anyway, save yourself a headache. They work with these warranty companies to see if they can get us to pay for new pumps and thousands of dollars and when we won’t they will call and threaten to sue you for defamation for calling them out on it. Do yourself a favor and click on the lowest one star reviews on Google and read, this is NOT the first time. All we wanted was the $85 back and for them to admit they didn’t even take the time to look at what was wrong before submitting information to the warranty company to get our claim denied. But now we have to go this route and leave a review so other people don’t have to go through it too. Sorry not sorry. Bad business is bad business.
