Bobby & Erica were wonderful to work with for our East Bay yard renovation. We approached Space Open with much of our hardscape renovation complete and needed help with soft scape design and planting.
The team was sensitive to our needs, existing structures, and the aesthetic we sought. They proposed a mix of California, Australian, and South African natives and turned around plans that helped visualize the end result. Deliverables were all on time and to budget, and we are thrilled with the result.
Now ~6 months after planting, neighbors walk by and say “thank you for bringing this to our street!” And the garden only gets better with time.
Working with Bobby at Space Open Studios was an absolute dream. They completely transformed my outdoor space using beautiful native plants that not only look stunning but also thrive naturally in the environment. Open Space, and specifically Bobby and Gita, were incredible to work with. We did a full redesign of the outdoor space of our Eichler property in Terra Linda, and they maintained the perfect balance between nodding to the history of the place while creating something cool and new. The design speaks for itself. Behind the scenes, Gita and Bobby were excellent communicators, professionals, and creatives.
Bobby did a great job of fusing our vision with his expertise in a seamless way that we are very appreciative of. In particular, knowing we are art fans, Bobby crafted his proposals to align with different styles and movements to guide how we thought about different options.
