Opening Times.
Advanced Pavers recently completed a four-week renovation of our front and back yards. We were extremely pleased with their work from beginning to end. Lucy was our designer as well as our project manager. We initially reached out to four companies for bids. Since we were totally redoing our yards there was a lot for us to learn about the possible choices and what would work best for our yard.
Lucy was extremely patient with us, providing input and helping us work through getting to what we feel was an outstanding solution. Her 3D designs really helped us to envision the final product. Some of the companies we had contacted just wanted us to go with their proposed solution rather than listen to what we wanted. Our interaction with Lucy really sold us on the fact that Advanced Pavers was the correct choice for us.
Once the project began, Lucy came by daily to check progress, give the team guidance as needed, and answer any questions we might have. Along the way, as the solution came together, we realized there were some changes we would like that would make the final product even better. We got the extra scope added to the project and Advanced Pavers still finished the project on schedule.
I attached some pictures along with the review. We wanted to get the new patio and retaining wall in place before adding more features (water fountains, etc.) so in the future as we add those elements the work that was done will stand out even more. We are very happy with the finished product and will not hesitate to use Advanced Pavers in the future.
What an amazing job they did at the Tower Cafe in sacramento. They built this beautiful customer seating area for the restaurant. Everyone involved from the designer Lacy, the crew and project management was very impressive! Rumors have it that they’re doing a phase 2. Can’t wait to see it.

We got quite a lot of work done from them Hardscaping and landscaping in our backyard, widening of our front yard cementing our side yard and a custom built fire pit as well. Everything was done to our satisfaction and on time. I highly recommend Advanced Pavers and Landscape for your next project. You can see from my photos that my project turned out spectacular. I liked how the company sends a designer to talk to me about the scope of work and reviews the plan if I have one or if you don’t have a plan, helps me figure out what you need for the backyard. In my case, the designer, Lacy came over and she helped me finalize the finish of my plan. She gave a price quote and I reduced my scope of work to fit in my budget which Lacy helped me to prioritize. A lot of contractors underestimate the price and ended up charging the customer and some even intentionally leave some items out of the initial quote and charge extra. I expected that and set aside an additional 10% of the budget but Lacy’s quote was honest that was exactly what I paid in the end with no surprise. My project manager was Caleb and the paver crew was Valdo’s team. On the first day of the groundbreaking, they set up a porta-potty and PG&E staff came out to mark gas lines. Very professional, the screw marked the construction area for neighbors to watch out for. Valdo’s team has been installing pavers for 25+ years and they were so good. Everything was graded 1% for drainage and the groundbreaking to completion took only 7 business days. They weren’t rushing, they were very focused. No loud music or joking around, the team was very focused to get work done right. I really like how Valdo’s team was asking a lot of questions on the plan because that shows they read plans also the project manager Caleb came by every day to check on the status and quality of work. During construction, I got feedback on the plan from Caleb and Valdo; and some changes occurred but my final price was the same as the initial price quote. Every staff was happy working for the company and they delivered a very detailed finish. I love the result and I am looking forward to creating memories with my family in my new backyard.
