Opening Times.
We had Almaden Valley Landscaping out to do a quote for our pool decking and a new patio and were really impressed with them. They were prompt, professional, and had a very competitive bid. We really appreciated their detailed plans and knowledge – they were very impressive. Unfortunately we had to go in a different direction for the pool decking, so we did not hire them for the job, but I would highly recommend them.
We consulted AVL team recently for our backyard landscaping project. The owner Ken created a basic design for us. I appreciate that he can think from a home owner perspective and provide practical suggestions, instead of adding unnecessary details. He is knowledgeable and friendly to work with. Ken’s assistant James also did a good job following up and following through with us. Although we have to pause our landscaping project, we appreciate AVL’s effort and would encourage others to contact him for their projects.
Oh man, what can I say, Ken and the team are so great to work with. I’ll try not to oversell it, but honestly, the experience, from start to finish, was great. Keep in mind that any type of remodeling or landscaping is filled with surprises and is fairly messy, but AVL really tried hard to mitigate a lot of these issues.
Scheduling a meeting was smooth, Ken showed up on time to every meeting, was willing to put together a rough design to see if things were feasible, the proposal was transparent, and the followthrough was even better. As many other reviewers have said, James was very responsive and Ken was very transparent about the process. The crew was respectful and clean. A special shout out to Felix, who was such a genuine man to interact with. Felix was so attentive to every detail and really cared about the finished product. We will definitely be working with them on our front yard and have already recommended them to friends and family. Well done guys!
AVL transformed our original 1950’s style backyard into an idyllic indoor-outdoor living space that we can enjoy year round. Ken and Dom were able to recreate a picture from a magazine and even enhanced the original design to better utilize our space. They come with years of experience in the business which made for a flawless project and without any surprises. The entire crew worked seamlessly and kept the entire project on time and on budget. Their attention to detail and passion for the work they do exceed in comparison to the other company’s we interviewed. We can not thank Almaden Valley Landscape enough for exceeding our expectations from the onset to following up with us months later. Almaden Valley Landscape is a total gem!
