Cutting Edge Landscaping did an absolutely amazing job transforming my backyard. From the initial design phase to the final walkthrough, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly detail-oriented. They truly brought my vision to life.
The custom water feature is the centerpiece of the yard and was executed flawlessly. The flow, sound, and placement feel very natural and add a peaceful, high-end resort feel to the space. The stone masonry work is equally impressive — every stone was carefully placed, the craftsmanship is top-tier, and the finished product looks both beautiful and built to last.
They were organized, communicated clearly throughout the project, stayed on schedule, and kept the job site clean. Any questions or small adjustments were handled immediately and with care. You can tell they take pride in their work and don’t cut corners.

Cutting Edge Landscaping Dfw was awesome! Their helpers were very mannered and made sure to clean up after they finished working each day they were here. Glad we went with them to fix our landscape drainage issues at our home. Definitely don’t miss the lake we have out back after every rain… Thanks guys for the French drains!!! I recently hired Cutting Edge Landscaping for a full lawn care package, including maintenance, mulch and french drain installation. I’m thrilled with the results!
From the start, they provided a detailed service calendar and made sure everything was scheduled accordingly. My lawn was kept neat, the treatments worked well, and there was great quality in the installation– it really made a difference in the overall look of my yard.

1 star is being generous. I signed up for installing sod in February, job that was supposed to be done in 2-3 weeks and 11 weeks later I don’t get a response from Evan and cutting-edge landscape ghosted me. I was very accommodating and understanding until about 8 weeks later. First it was supplier didn’t have grass, then it was well it will come next week, then oh he doesn’t deliver to your area and my truck can’t handle it, so will have to find transport, then I will find a new supplier… well why did you take the job then? The first red flag should have been the quote and asking for 50% down, not sure if that was used to pay other jobs as none of my grass was even reserved until April. I was misled to believe it was a reputable place given these reviews. Check out their Yelp reviews one planning a lawsuit, wish I had found those before I signed up with them. In the end I got a drain installed (hope it works) and 1 out of 9 pallets of grass… and while tilling cut the sprinkler wires which then I had to pay fair bit to fix. Mostly disappointed with lack of communication, broken promises, continual excuses and finally ghosting in the end. Happy to share details if the owner cares to refute.
Do not hire this company. Evann took a 50% deposit and never performed any work and has not returned our deposit. When pushed to do the job, he ghosted us and never showed up for any meetings. His business address at 200 Canyon Lake Dr., is a Church, not a landscaping company.
