Opening Times.
Communication is not this company’s strong suit. I did a walk around the property with Jason and he gave us a list of what all we talked about and we signed a contract. One thing we wanted added was a stone firepit. We were never asked where exactly we wanted the firepit to go before they put it permanently in place with glue. They did try to accommodate us by trying to move it, but in their attempt, one of the stones got broken (and will now have to be glued back together) and ultimately it was never moved. I now have to live with a firepit that sends shockwaves through my OCD. I was told that they wanted to leave room for seating on one side of the firepit. Okay, I think that is fine. But wouldn’t one think to place the seating on the side that would have the best view while we are seated? Now we will be facing a shed instead of enjoying the view of our yard and pool. A landscaping company should be aware of placements such as these. The rest of the landscaping went fairly well, which is why I chose to change from 2 stars to 3. Still had communication issues with that as well.
From the first call to the last email JLC Outdoors have been very professional and responsive. My back yard had horrible drainage and soggy yard problems. The initial inspection by Jason was reassuring. He had a straight forward approach to fix the issue. Then the crew onsite was extremely professional. A pipe to my pool was accidentally hit (no fault of the crew, my home was built in 1977 and who knows where what runs anymore). JLC had their technician out that day to correct the pipe and get the pool up and running again. The communication and quality of work are outstanding at JLC, they will be my go to for anything exterior! Thank you Jason and crew!
We had new sod installed and the experience was great from start to finish. The owner and his team were professional, thorough, and clearly take pride in their work. They made sure everything was done right, paid attention to the details, and left our yard looking great. We’re very impressed with the quality of the sod and the care that went into the installation. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to transform their lawn!
Jason and his team helped us design our backyard landscape after a new pool installation. He was responsive, competitively priced, and delivered exactly what he said he would. In addition to the beautiful Areca and Sylvester palms, his team also installed drainage for our sloped property line, a new irrigation system (piping/sprinklers) for the backyard, and sod for the yard. We’re very happy with the work and would highly recommend this company!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! The service was an issue from the start in that they were over changing me for mowing a small yard. But I accepted it as I needed the service. They did not edge or trim regularly an literally spent less than 15 mins on my lawn every time they came. the lawn was dying due to leaves in the yard…i asked them about it and they said they would “blow it” for me….ended up showing up at 8am with a blower and blew the wet grass for 10 mins charged me $75 and removed NO leaves. when I contested the invoice they called me a liar, when in fact the entire incident was witnessed. They have also invoiced me for other work NOT done, show up unannounced without a quote and billed me for time…but did nothing NOTHING. super shady business practices and horrible customer service. DO NOT USE!!
