   We bought a house last summer, and we knew that we were going to want to do something with a large portion of our front/side yard, which was unattractive wood chips and a gravel strip for parking vehicles. We talked to some different landscapers, but everyone just basically talked about putting in some grass with no Interesting other details. We realized that we needed to hire someone that would have a VISION for our space, and Joe was exactly the right guy!

   He came and looked at the yard, and talked to us about what our goals and budget were. We talked through different options based on how we wanted to use the space as a family, and how we wanted it to look/what style we like. A big thing for us was making it have a similar vibe as the desert scape that was already in the front of the house that we liked a lot.

   When Joe came back with his drawings, we were thrilled! He came up with a couple of ideas that were really perfect for transforming the space, and that we never would thought of on our own. Specifically, he suggested we open up a private deck and build steps down onto the grass to make the whole area more inviting, and to convert part of an unused driveway into a “wine country” sitting area with sun shades. The grass area he designed isn’t just a rectangle, there are nice curved edges and cut outs for native plants, and the redwood fence he built is low and gorgeous.

   Besides, loving the design, his team worked incredibly quickly and efficiently. Joe checked in regularly to make sure everything was going well, and the foreman was great at communicating and asking questions when he needed something. Very professional and experts at what they do.

   When we first had the work done it was winter and we already loved it, but as spring and summer arrived, and we have been able to watch the plants and the trees grow and the flowers bloom, it has became even more gorgeous. We cannot be happier with how it turned out! (We have had several neighbors stop by and tell us how much they love what we did with the property – people that we didn’t know before. That has been fun too.)

   In short, if you are looking to invest in your property and design a beautiful space that works for your style and lifestyle, I highly recommend Joe and JPM Landscapes!

   We hired JPM for a full backyard landscaping project and couldn’t be more pleased with the results. His proposal perfectly captured the style we envisioned and made the most of our backyard space, all at a fair price.
   Joe’s team was exceptionally reliable, skilled, and made sure that the little details were just right. We are thrilled with the quality of our new pavers, turf, landscaping and pergola. The project was finished on schedule and stayed within our budget.
   We would recommend him to anyone. The final outcome exceeded our expectations—friends that have seen our backyard say that they feel like they’re in a resort!

   Absolutely exceptional craftsmanship. Joe designed a custom landscape plan that felt unique to my home, not something “cookie cutter.” The build quality is top notch — clean lines, perfect plant selection, professional installation, and thoughtful details throughout. Joe’s crew was amazing to work with. If you want a landscape company that treats your property like a high-end project, Jpm is the team to hire.

   We had a great experience with our front yard landscape make-over. Joe was communicative, knowledgeable, creative, and amenable to changing the design as we discussed various options. Joe stayed on budget and the work was completed quickly. Most importantly we are very happy with our results and continue to receive compliments from neighbors walking by.
