Vacation every day, and this guy vacations.
We started with an idea and ended up at jaw-dropped. What was once a dusty patch of limestone is now a resort-style cabana. Kitchen, shower, and fireplace. Every detail was thoughtfully executed.
Michael (he owns it, you’ll swear he looks like a Kevin) guided us through every step of the process…and there were lotssss of steps. He was patient, responsive, and above all, obsessed with quality. Shout out to Bernie, Chris, and Rudies for their dedication and craftsmanship.
Now, when I sit in my lighted, fanned, warmed, and plumbed oasis, I feel like I’ve checked into a five-star retreat. Is it luxury? YES. Is it worth the price of luxury? Absolutely. It’s the best investment we’ve ever made.
My admiration and appreciation for Mike Padilla and the guys working with him could not higher. I have been dealing with concrete cancer since my pool was built in 2020- after years of trying to find a solution, I met with Mike to discuss the options of redoing my yard to remove the pool. The work they did to not only to work around the old pool and remove the equipment but install a jacuzzi slab built in and around my old decking is phenomenal. The guys have a solid work ethic and do high quality work. I’m so grateful to their team for turning a bad situation into something truly palatable and delightful. Kevin, Bernie and the rest of the crew did great work for us over several days. Our old wooden storage shed was deteriorating and had become infested with mice and other vermin. We needed the shed demolished, hauled off, and replaced. We had a concrete slab installed for the new shed to prevent infestation. They demolished the old shed, hauled it off, poured the slab and built the new metal shed. We also had a small section of our deteriorating wood fence rebuilt. The work was high quality and the crew cleaned up very well when it was all done. The end result is we have a nice, clean storage place for lawn equipment and yard decorations where we used to have a rotting, moldy, mice-infested mess.
Having listen to Sheryl McLaughlin’s garden show on KLBJ for years, we knew when we bought a house, we wanted her company to do the job. We were interested in a mature tree, so Michael from Kevin Wood Landscapes, suggested a Monterey Oak for our backyard. Michael took his time finding the right tree, and Julia communicated updates. Chris and his crew drove up with the most beautiful specimen. It took about an hour to plant the 65 gal tree and extend a drip irrigation line to the new tree from our sprinkler system. There was no dirt left over anywhere. They were reliable, professional, and took pride in their work. Next year we hope to continue our garden plans and will call on Kevin Wood Landscapes to continue our vision.
This company does quality work. I wish I’d used them the first time I had a tree planted but I cheaped out and used a Craig’s List rando and that tree is languishing. When I lost five trees in Snowmageddon, I had these guys replace some and the difference is night and day. They also did landscaping on my front walkway and it’s so clean and not overgrown anymore. Excellent.
