My family and I were so happy to have worked with Reynolds-Sebastiani Design. Christopher and his crew were WONDERFUL!!! He took our tired, tilted, 2-level ugly weed jungle backyard (which we were never able to fully utilize) and transformed it into a gorgeous, luxurious escape, where we now enjoy its serenity and entertain family and friends throughout the year. Our beautiful Cinderella Garden!!!
We loved working with Christopher. It was a very collaborative experience. Besides his beautiful design style and eye (not to mention he’s a nice guy), he is an excellent communicator, and was always available to answer any questions. We had never taken on such a huge home project – so it felt quite overwhelming – but we were quickly put at ease. His detailed estimate showed each segment of work by phases (i.e. clearing foliage/weeds, new fence construction, irrigation system, fire pit construction, hardscaping, lighting, etc.). It was easy to see the progression and order of work, and when funds were due for each phase. He stayed within budget, and the project was completed in an extremely efficient and timely manner. Miguel, Christopher’s construction foreman, is an artisan, and his crew, awesome…each were constantly measuring and re-measuring EVERYTHING. And their thoughtfulness in cleaning all up nicely at the end of each day was most appreciated.
Having all the design and standout features like the hand built stone fire pit and benches executed through one company made everything so easy. Our new backyard has changed our lives! We get lots of compliments on it, and have highly recommended Reynolds-Sebastiani Design to our friends. Working with premier professionals in Christopher and Miguel was the best, and If we were ever to have another opportunity, we would not hesitate to work with them again!!!
Christopher at Reynolds-Sebastiani Design Services turned our 33 year old, never used, jungle of a back yard into a living paradise that we enjoy daily during our retirement years. Our guests marvel at the deck, fencing, stonework and native plants that Christopher so lovingly selected to adorn our extended living space. Several friends have also used Christopher for their projects and recommend him highly for his design, communication and thoroughness. His crew is fast, efficient and gets the job done!

My yard had not had any serious attention for a couple of decades, and we wanted something with lower water and lower maintenance needs. Much of the back was taken up with a tumble-down garage structure that other designers had declined to take on. Christopher, on the other hand, had a clear vision of how it could be. He and his crew at Reynolds-Sebastiani installed a retaining wall and created new spaces to hang out. Christopher was really helpful in consulting on selecting hardscape material and paint colors — his design skills are terrific, and he offered me lower, medium and higher cost options. The crew worked to minimize how much material went to the landfill. They filled the front and back with native plantings that provide an endless variety of color and form, and my yard is now a wonderful meadow that hosts great numbers of butterflies, indigenous bees, and other native inhabitants. I began by asking for “low water” but what I ended up getting was so much more! More beauty, more useable space, and more health for the planet.
We had a great experience working with Christopher on our home in Mill Valley. He put a lot of thought into the design and helping us find a wide variety of plants for backyard. He also supervised a team to build a stone patio, stone pathways, and outdoor lighting that look great. We use our backyard in a different way now. After the work was done, Christopher has returned several times with a team to check in on the work and for light maintenance. Happy to recommend!
